Medal frame and wood slats less than average quality. When you sit on the mattress you can hear settlement and squeaking. Customer service was helpful and courteous.

1st platform style. Looks great. Easy to put together. Product is as described. Quilt/blanket note. A California King blanket touches the floor. In hind sight I should have ordered a king size quilt/blanket to ensure it doesn't touch flooring. Live and learn.

To be clear, I bought this in a king size for my king size bed. This bedframe is exactly what it looks like in the photo, except its made horriboy, and there a lot of downsides. This bed is made of what feels like plasterboard and bends easily during construction, everything creaks when you install it, the metal feels like copper alloy (easily malleable), and on top of that, the entire bedframe leaves a 2 inch gap on all sides when fully assembled! I attached some photos so you can see what I mean. The size is off. The height is off. It barely fits my king sized mattress on it. I'm sorely disappointed but dont know what I expected for the price. I will update in a week to tell you if it collapsed under me in my home. Until then, 1 star.

Bedframe is solid and beautiful. Easy to assemble. No noise and worth the money. I purchased a Cali King and the size was perfect. I removed one star on the mere fact that it sits a lot lower than I expected. It felt as if I placed my mattress onto a boxspring. If sleeping closer to the floor is what you are looking for, then this bedframe is for you.
