We live on a tight budget on Social Security. Our 24 inch wide circa 1970s built in oven's element died. I was not able to find a replacement. I looked for the least expensive replacement oven that I could find and this is it. I was hoping that it would work at all. Both my wife and I are delighted. The shipping box was a little damaged but the oven was packed well. The oven construction is solid. The Styrofoam corners took the damage, not the oven. I was happy when the new oven slipped into the same opening as the original. It comes with a 3 prong plug. The original was 4 wires. Thanks to Grok AI, I was able to get instructions on how to do the 4 wire to 3 wire conversion. I purchased the proper receptacle at Home Depot. Last night I make pizza from scratch. The oven performed great. The controls are old school dials. Temperature indicator is in Fahrenheit. There is a timer dial. The function dial is a little difficult to understand. Thankfully there is a chart in the instruction booklet to explain what the icons mean. The Garvee is better than what I was expecting. Time will tell if it holds up. I gave this oven the highest rating considering it was the least expensive that I could find anywhere. It just works well without all the bells and whistles.

I bought this to replace an oven that was about 40 years old. It is smaller than the oven it replaced but it works fine for me and my wife. It takes a little longer to warm up than the one that it replaced but it so far has cooked what we put into it with no issues.

Passes more heat than I was expecting, was hoping for a bit better insulation. I know it was cheaper but was still hopeful. But great size and all just need to consider how it gets mounted it puts off quite a bit of heat.

This is a very nice built-in wall oven. The 24-inch size is perfect for my RV (or tiny house), and the sleek black finish blends in nicely with my kitchen. Solid performer for the price, with one notable omission you should know about going in: there's no timer. The spec sheet actually lists "Timer Function Not Available," which is easy to miss when you're shopping, but it's the kind of thing that matters once you're standing in your kitchen. If you're used to an oven with a built-in countdown that shuts things off or sounds an alarm, you'll need a separate solution here. That caveat aside, the oven itself does what it should. Fit was clean — it slid right into a standard 24-inch cutout without any drama. The build feels solid, not flimsy, and the black finish looks good in a modern kitchen without being over-designed about it. The mechanical knobs have a direct, tactile feel that I actually prefer over touchpad controls; when you want to adjust temperature mid-cook you're not navigating menus, you're just turning a knob. The eight cooking modes are useful, and convection actually works the way it should — the fan circulates heat evenly, which makes a difference on things like roasted vegetables or a pizza where you want a decent crust. Temperature range tops out at 482°F, which is fine for most home cooking. The 2.5 cubic feet of interior space is on the compact side but accommodates a standard roasting pan without issue. One other thing worth noting: the function dial uses small icons, and a few of them aren't immediately obvious. The instruction booklet has a reference chart, so it's not a dealbreaker, but it's the kind of thing a newer cook could find frustrating at first.
