I have been tracking with this device since 2020 (6 years). This is my third Vivosmart 5. I use it to monitor my heart rate & steps & it's been great & durable. Cons: The charging cord is specific to the device. would be nice if it was a USB C connection but that might compromise water resistance but that's my only major complaint. I'm rough on wearable jewelry, so for them to hold up to my lifestyle is an accomplishment in itself. Screen quality is decent & fairly easy to read though the text is pretty small. Son of Update: Exchanged the watch for another one. This one works fine. The battery is very good. Not impressed with my experience though. No reason to remove my review. Be warned. ......... Update: Bought January 6. Completely died March 11. Disgusting. ......... Watch works fine. Battery is almost dead. It does not last two days. It has to be charged each and every day. Yes, I know the watch is "renewed." But the title on the sales page says "long lasting battery" and it's not really renewed if it has to be charged every single day. I'd give it zero stars if I could. This is the worst purchase I have made on Amazon in 20 years, and that's saying a lot. ... show more

    • Does not track sleep, but tracks everything else.

It's not good at tracking sleep. Being on the computer counts as sleep. Laying down counts as sleep. It's good at heart rate, but I bought it to track sleep. It can not. Technical support let me know that it isn't a bug with mine. It seems to be accurate in sensing heart rate, and other such things but I don't need that as much as a sleep tracker. So I'm returning it. I'm not against buying Garmin in the future but it seems to be the one feature it fails at. I was told it would be accurate if I set the hours before hand but as I have terrible sleep patterns and use this to help track it. ...Yeah this is a terrible product... For me. (Context of picture. I didn't sleep till after 7am. So everything on the left side is wrong.) ... show more

Since this was supposed to be refurbished I should not say anything bad about the product. Only that 87% battery lasted less then 24 hrs, and I could not pair it to the phone after 20 hours. plus, the numbers it came up with were shy.

I gave this a 4 because it lacks a find my phone option. I really miss that feature. I am having trouble keeping steps showing on watch. This maybe a user error.
