This watch is everything I wanted it to be! I’ve had an Apple Watch for years but the battery on them never lasted for more than a day and that drove me crazy! But this Garmin will generally stay charged for a week or a little more depending on what all I’m doing that week. Meaning I don’t have to take my charging cord on every trip I take as long as I charge it before we leave. I have an iPhone and haven’t had any issues syncing it with my phone and the apps I want to use it with. I can’t answer a text/message from the watch but it does let you preview messages that come in. Which is a fact I knew going in and I was perfectly okay with that. But if you’re wanting to be able to perform all the functions your phone will do from your watch this isn’t the one for you. It’s the perfect size for my wrist. I really like this watch. I like the way it looks, I like the way the buttons feel when you click them, I like the battery life. I bought the little silicone covers that prevent sweat from getting into the charging pins. I definitely recommend getting a pack of those. I think the bezel is a little large, but it doesn't take away from the watch's great display. Garmin's software is pretty good too. Garmin Connect makes it easy to track my weight, hydration, sleep, and exercise. I have used the walking, running, treadmill running, cycling, and weightlifting modes. All of them provide good metrics to help you track your performance in real time. One thing I do not like is how easy it is to scratch the watch face. In the first day or two I already had several micro scratches. I bought two screen protectors but they drastically lower the responsiveness of the touch screen and if you get any water under the covers, like if you're sweating, swimming, or even just washing your hands, then the touch screen becomes very wonky. Overall I like it, but I wouldn't recommend it to a friend until they are fully informed about the display. ... show more
