I very rarely justify spending money on something unless I know I’m actually going to use it, and the Garmin Instinct 3 Solar has easily become one of the most-used things I’ve ever purchased. I originally got it mainly for the gym, but it has turned into an everyday device that basically never leaves my wrist. I use it to track my workouts, exercises, heart rate, sleep, recovery, activity, and overall health. Having all of that information available has genuinely made me more aware of how active I am and how I’m recovering. I’ve worn it so consistently that I literally have a tan line from the watch now. 😂 That’s probably the best indication of how much use it’s getting. The battery life, tracking, durability, and overall functionality have all been fantastic. It’s one of those purchases where, after owning it for a while, I keep thinking, “Why didn’t I buy this sooner?” If you’re on the fence about getting a Garmin, just buy it. Hands down, no questions asked, one of the best devices I’ve ever spent money on and absolutely worth the money. I genuinely don’t think I’ll ever regret owning a Garmin. 10/10. Also I went with the white and blue model, and surprisingly, it’s been incredibly easy to keep clean. I was a little worried that the lighter color would get dirty or look beat up quickly, but so far it has held up really well. I also installed a screen protector right away for some extra peace of mind. I purchased the larger 53mm model, and honestly, it’s nowhere near as awkward or bulky as I expected. If you’re considering the 53mm, I’d say it’s perfectly comfortable as long as your wrist is large enough that the watch doesn’t completely overwhelm the proportions of your wrist. If the 53mm case looks noticeably wider than your wrist, I’d definitely recommend going with the smaller size.

I upgraded to this from an Instinct 1 Tactical. I like the bigger screen, longer lasting battery and greater sensors for tracking a host of stats. Decent for hiking, but not used as a primary GPS, just a backup. I also ride a bicycle frequently, and really enjoy the health stats I can review. I ended up replacing watch band with a nylon version, and the quickfit makes that a very easy process. Very happy with purchase.

Greetings, it is a super basic model and to handle it it is not friendly with the buttons, the screen is super basic without any color or attraction, if you want something basic and not intuitive this is the product.
