  • Game-Changer for Accurate Heart Rate Tracking
Style: New Version
This heart rate monitor is absolutely incredible. I have full sleeve tattoos, which makes my wrist-based heart rate readings from a smartwatch extremely inaccurate — especially during runs. I prefer heart rate zone training over pace-based training, and the inconsistency and lag from my watch were driving me crazy. This chest strap solved everything. It delivers instant and reliable heart rate data with zero dropouts. The strap is comfortable to wear, stays in place during intense workouts, and the battery life is excellent — it just keeps going. I was also pleasantly surprised by the price. For the quality and performance, it’s a bargain. One important note: you need to connect the HRM to your watch directly through your watch’s settings — not just through the Garmin Connect app — to get it working properly. No downsides from my experience. If you train seriously or just want reliable data, this is a must-have upgrade. ... show more

  • Accurate, Comfortable, and Packed with Data – Worth It
Style: New Version
I’ve used chest straps from Polar and Wahoo before, but the Garmin HRM-Pro Plus stands out. It locks onto heart rate fast and stays locked — no dropouts, no drifting, even during interval runs or circuit training. What really makes this strap worth it is the extra data: running dynamics, cadence, vertical oscillation, ground contact time — all syncs straight to Garmin Connect and gives way more insight than a wrist-based monitor ever could. Battery life’s great (over a year easy), and swapping it out is way simpler now with the no-tools battery cover. Strap’s comfortable too — snug but not irritating, even on long workouts. Whether you’re training for performance or just want reliable tracking, this strap delivers. No gimmicks — just solid, accurate data every time. ... show more

  • Very worth the cost if you're serious about metrics
Style: New Version
Can't go wrong with an on body HRM. I loved my HRM Pro but was curious if the Pro+ was any different. I can't tell any difference in dynamics besides perhaps *some* HR smoothing but still just as solid of a product as the HRM Pro. I really can't say I work out without it these days.

  • Accurate, comfortable, and full of useful features
Style: New Version
The Garmin HRM‑Pro Plus delivers excellent heart rate accuracy, even during intense workouts. The dual ANT+ and Bluetooth connection is stable, and the strap is comfortable even during long sessions. Best of all, it stores data when not connected to a watch and provides advanced running metrics like vertical oscillation, stride length, and ground contact time. It also tracks steps and calories without a watch and syncs everything afterward. The battery lasts up to a year and can be replaced easily without tools. Highly recommended for serious training and reliable data. ... show more

  • Impulse
Style: New Version
Ok I just bought this because I had a Garmin Fenix and I like their app. Total impulse buy but it does come in handy if I actually work out.

  • Much more accurate
Style: New Version
Much more accurate than the watch HR. Like night and day difference. Also lots of interesting additional stats are provided with this when running.

  • Overhyped not compatible with older devices.
Style: New Version
This is the second chest strap I have purchased. Purchased the Garmin Swim HRM which never got it to connect or pair to my device. Returned it. Now purchased the HRM Pro Plus and again will not pair to my phone or my Garmin Instinct Watch. I have followed all the steps for troubleshooting from the manual which are restated here on the Garmin Website. This product doesn't work and I will be returning it, sadly prefer Polar Heart Rate products over the overhyped Garmin junk. ... show more
