  • Great replacement
Style: Bands (Blue/Black)
After 10 years use, my old strap broke. Bought this replacement and it fit perfectly! The screw drivers they included were indispensable in replacing the straps. Arrived on time too!

  • Exactly the Same as Original Band
Style: Bands (Blue/Black)
This is exactly what you'd expect--an exact replacement of the watch band that comes with the Garmin Forerunner 920XT. If you like the band that comes with the watch, then you will love this, because it is literally exactly the same. It is a rubber In the package, you will get both halves of the watch band (the band piece with the latch, and the band piece the latch connects to). In addition, you get two metal pins (the little metal bars that actually hold the band to the watch), two metal pin lugs (the little screws that hold the metal pins in place, and two metal pin lug tools (kind of like a screwdriver--it's used to unscrew the lugs so you can remove the bar and thus replace the bands). Replacing the watch band itself can be a little tricky. You have two screwdriver-type things that you have to put on both sides of the watch. Only one of the lugs actually unscrews, and the other is permanently connected to the metal pin. Thus, you have to brace the watch against a flat surface, point both screwdriver tools toward each other, insert them into the lugs, and then unscrew one of the lugs. After unscrewing the lug, the pin should fall out the other direction (sometimes takes a little jiggling). Afterwards, the band will just fall off the watch. To put the new band on, you just reverse the process. The whole process takes about two minutes once you figure out that both lugs don't unscrew (trying to unscrew the second lug just spins the pin around). In my case, the band piece with the latch broke in half, so I only needed to replace it. I used the original pins, lugs, and other band piece, and kept the rest should I need to replace those later. All pieces come in a tiny resealable ziploc bag, so you can save the replacement pieces you didn't use for later. I wear my 920XT 24/7 (even to sleep), with the sole exception of when I take a shower (purely because I don't want soap grime to build up). My original watch band lasted about a year before it broke, so I'm assuming this new one will last roughly as long. I've had the new band piece on for a couple of weeks now, and it looks exactly the same as the old band piece, so you cannot tell it's a replacement and thus newer than the band piece I didn't replace. I will also note that I don't think this replacement band will fit other watches. I also own a Garmin Forerunner 305, and the width of the band piece that actually connects to the watch is different, so I wasn't able to swap one band to the other device. ... show more

  • Breaks easily
Style: Bands (Blue/Black)
I like that this is an exact match. It looks great and is comfortable regardless of the size of your wrist. What I don't like is that they break easily. My wife and I have the 920XT. Both of us have had to replace the band at least 3 times each. We love the watch but the bands are not built to last.

  • Very durable...
Style: Bands (Blue/Black)
Amazon tells me that my last purchase of this Garmin 920XT band was July 2017. I'd say that is pretty good for a watch band, considering that in 2020 alone, I swam 180 miles in the ocean, and this year I've done another 80+, and between 2017 and 2020 I probably swam 300+ miles in the pool which is really hard on rubber and plastic. This band is currently just beginning to show signs of breaking, so I am replacing it now. I do tighten the band so it's stretched when swimming, but loosen it some to be more comfortable after. Not sure what other folks with broken bands are doing, but the replacement band I got was great. My original band only lasted one year on a "referb" watch. So be a little gentle, and you should be just fine. I am exceptionally hard on watches, so this 920XT (watch and band) have really been amazing from a durability standpoint. ... show more

  • Great product

This is my 2nd watch band for my Garmin multi sport watch. The last one lasted 3 years. Used it while swimming, cycling and running. Totally worth the money.

  • High Quality OEM Replacement Band
Style: Bands (Blue/Black)
Band arrived quickly as expected. I replaced my old band last night and it was very easy and quick - less than 5 minutes. Like many others here, my old band was cracking on the underside in one of the seams. I just noticed it a week ago and ordered this the following day because I didn’t want to risk losing or damaging my valuable watch. My old band lasted almost 3 years (with the last year of wearing this watch 24/7). I know a lot of people complain about having to replace the band, but I see this as a fairly cheap protection for my $400 watch. The band looks just like my original band - seems to be genuine Garmin and fits just like the original. After examining the old band and seeing where it was starting to fail, I realized it happens because you have to bend the band upwards in order to remove the watch. I’m going to try to keep my watch on my wrist so this band lasts. Overall, very happy with the price, quality, and shipping process! ... show more
