I got this watch for running/triathlon training. I was previously using an Apple Watch. The Garmin is far superior in terms of being a more fitness oriented watch. I chose the 745 over the 945 since my wrist is on the smaller size, and this fits similar to the smaller size Apple Watch.

I use the Phoenix 6 watch primarily for running biking and swimming. I like the GPS function especially when I go hiking in the mountains. . My 3rd Garmin Forerunner watch. Had the 610 model for 6 years and still have a functioning 735XT for 3.5 years now. Purchased the 745 out of curiosity and ended up keeping it. Better build and user interface, and an extra temperature sensor when compared with the previous 735 model. If one already has the 735XT model and is happy with it, there is no need to rush. Maybe wait for the 755? I can't deny the temperature sensor is a nice addition though. Time to put my old 735XT to even more stress, as I keep alternating between both. ... show more
