My original charger that came with Garmin Forerunner 235 stopped charging reliability. It lasted three years. One of the charging contacts came loose, so it stopped charging. This replacement cable I bought from Amazon is from Garmin and it works.

The original Garmin watch charger clip lasted about a year when one of the four “teeth” that fits into your watch recessed into the charger and no longer allowed all four teeth to come into contact. I spent extra to buy a Garmin replacement for around $25 instead of going generic. The replacement lasted about 18 months before the same thing happened.
