I understand the necessity of the transmitter and receivers being large to allow such a powerful and long distance signal, however the collar was very very large, it would hang at his chest and smack his chest as he ran. This collar kit would be good for larger dogs, or I would recommend getting a harness style vest with pockets that the collar can be put into instead of around the neck. ... show more

I should have gotten the large Garmin with geofence capabilities. I tried saving a few bucks thinking that I'd be happy without it but given the chance, I would upgrade. Great product still and works fantastic for recalling my hunting beagle but a geofence would have gone a long way
