Great raw material for decorative works. Reasonably thick, pliable, takes engraving from a laser no problem. The little thumbtacks are cheapo things that are more functional than good looking. The big question is going to be the adhesive. I've stuck one of these to a door, one to a wall, and one to a peice of sheet metal. I'll be taking off a star for each one that falls off in the next 30 days.

Tight packed cork squares is a whole half inch thick which is ideal for bulletin boards. Even comes with a small box of pins. Comes with full coverage peel and stick backing but I would not recommend sticking these to a wall. I had bad luck in the past and if you are renting it could be a good way to lose your deposit. This six pax is a great deal for 6 square feet.

We had a mishmash of favorite clippings above the headboard in our 'sports' room and I used these cork tiles side by side above the bed to finally tidy it up. These are by far, the nicest bulletin boards I've tried. It's about 1/2 inch thick and well compressed. Even after changing the tacks around countless times, you couldn't tell where the tacks had been removed. They look terrific and being able to custom fit the size I wanted was a huge factor in getting these. Very very pleased with them!
