This is an excellent little set of hand tools useful for your garden or potting bench. The handles have a nice comfortable grip to them and each of the tools appear to be made from an appropriately sized gage of metal to give the tool adequate strength, which is particularly important when working in very rocky or compacted soils. I mention that due to having fallen for buying inexpensive tools in the past in the metal part of the tool does not have the strength and winds up bending and eventually breaking. These appear to be pretty sturdy and will be seeing much more action over the next several weeks as we prepare our yard for spring and summer. I really like the extra narrow shovel for getting into some tight spaces I have near some pavers and stone edging.

I am super pleased with these garden tools. So far they seem well made and should last, though I will update if not. I had been looking locally for a set like this and given the time of year, everywhere was either out of stock, don't appear to have them to start with or were cruddy quality (plastic garbage). These are really nice, are comfortable to work with and metal tools. A great deal as well (as of this writing). I would recommend and might even get another set when available again.

I ordered this pair of trowels. One is a spade for digging and scooping of soil, landscaping or gardening materials. The other trowel is more narrow with a sharper edge and inches etched into the shovel. The measurements are helpful for bulb planting as some bulbs require certain depths. The handles are rubberized and easy grip. There are holes in the handles for a storage option of hanging on a peg board. The stainless steel is brawny enough to handle outdoor small digging task.

The three tools arrived wrapped individually in plastic and packed neatly in a box. They are heavy, quite large and made of sturdy metal. I placed one on the floor on 12" tiles for comparison. I gave them 4 stars because neither green cap fits on the handle of item. They are off set or crooked on the handles so how long will they last?

I'm getting into gardening for the first time really this year and this set is an awesome addition to my tools. The metal tools seem sturdy and equipped for longterm use. I've never used gardening gloves with the spiked fingers, which appear to be haphazardly glued on, so we'll see how those last. I like the bag included to keep everything together, heavy enough fabric not to worry about any of the metal tools ripping through.

I was very pleased to see the high level of quality in this set of handheld garden tools. They are extremely sturdy. And the handles are a comfortable grip. I have high hopes these will last a long time. I'll update this review if something changes after using them for a few months. But otherwise, I highly recommend this set.

They both have nice handles that have some slight finger grooves. The edge of the larger trowel is a little off. There's some extra material along the edge, but it won't negatively affect it in any way. The smaller shovel has inch markings on it for helping get the depth right when planting bulbs. Everything feels sturdy with no flex in it. I don't foresee any issues with softer soil, but we'll see when I get out there and start using it in the rock filled clay that we have out in the back yard. Update: I see that the product I reviewed is not the same as what is now being offered. What I got was a set of 2 shovels. What the listing is for now, is the shovels plus a couple of hand rakes, pruning shears, gloves, and a carry bag. I'm taking a star off because of that. It feels dishonest for them to change what my review was associated with like this.
