This is a nice little gardening set and would make a good gift for the gardener in your life. We plant a decent sized vegetable garden and this set has helped with getting the garden planted. The little shovels have made it easier for getting both seeds and pre-grown plants in the rows in the garden. They will be just as useful when we switch from in ground gardening to raised bed gardening. The pruners in the set are sharp and make harvesting easier.

I ordered this set and had it shipped directly as a gift. Thier initial response was and I quote; "Thank you but, it looks really cheap. I hope that you didn't spend a lot on it". Then, later while attempting to use them; "They won't dig". I was originally so excited to send these. After her tools were accidentally thrown out, she was heartbroken about not being able to garden. I thought she was going to be thrilled and be able to do what made her happy. I was so embarrassed by the quality of the product. Had I known ahead of time, I would have invested in a much better quality set.

I needed some small gardening tools, and this kit seemed perfect. They haven't gotten a lot of use yet, but will soon. But I did pull the tools out to get a good feel for them, and they seem sturdy enough to get the job done. I love that the entire kit is pretty lightweight, and it can be hung somewhere to keep it out of the way.

I plan to use these solely for indoor gardening, and very small versions of that. Initially in opening this, it's exciting to see the array of different tools that are at your disposal. The plastic itself is not great quality, the tools aren't necessarily meant for really in-depth jobs, and since I'm planning only to use these indoor plants, it's perfect for me. For outdoor gardening, or any bigger indoor jobs, I would probably want to get something that was better quality. It's not that these are bad, It's just that they're okay. I love that they come in a kit, I love that it's a good beginner kit. I wish I would have had something like this in my first apartment. The tools are all fairly lightweight, and it really is a good value, I just worry about longevity.

This is a sweet little gardening kit. Some of the spades are really small, and I am so excited to use them for splitting bulbs this spring. I love that it comes in a toolbox. I spend a great deal of time while I am gardening looking for missing tools. I'm not sure this is great value for the money, but maybe the convivence of the toolbox will offset that. If I stop losing tools and having to replace them, it probably will be. I would claim the quality of the tools is average. The handles are delightfully comfortable. I'm not impressed with the small pruner; its not going to cut anything over a quarter inch, but the larger shears are ok. The tiny spades are amazing.
