With just about everything that you're going to need this personal gardening kit is totally contained in a heavy duty canvas bag with a large tote handle. There are 3 small areas on each side of the bag that can hold most of the tools that are included in the kit. In the kit there is a nice sized gardening mat for you to transfer plants and such, various tools that all have a durable heavy duty handles and a large shaft for solid strength and are made of stainless steel. The tools include a hand rake, cultivator, pruning shears, pruner, weeding knife, large spade, trowel with measurement markers showing how deep the soil is up to 4 inches, and a weeding tool. This set is by the far one of the best gardening tool sets I've had. For the price, I was expecting a cheap set. Boy was I surprised. I received 8 tools, a pair of gloves a gardening mat and a tote. The gloves fit perfectly and are very comfortable. The grip on them is fantastic too. The handles on the tools is comfortable to hold which is good because I can spend hours gardening. I am really pleased with this set of tools. The gardening tools I usually get are cheap so they bend easily. These tools however are not cheap & flimsy. No bending here. They can handle even the toughest jobs. I just want to say these tools are making my life a heck of a lot easier. With the amount of gardening I have to do, it'll be nice to be able to use quality tools that are up for the job. Definitely recommend and if I could give it more than 5 stars, I would.

My SO and I have been doing a lot of yard work lately, because we were prepping to host a birthday party for my granddaughter (one does like to have one's yard looking nice for visitors). I was surprised at how sturdy these tools are, and there seems to be a tool for every type of weeding situation. I usually dislike weeding and yardwork in general, but because I had so many more tools than normal at my disposal, I was much happier weeding the flower beds. This set does come with gloves; the gloves are okay, I've definitely used sturdier ones. For instance, as I was weeding around cactus, I did get glochids (those tiny prickly thingies) in my hands. The best part about this product is the actual tools. These tools come in a nice hold all, which is very convenient. There is also room to add other small items you might need.

I go through a lot of garden tools. Our soil varies from hardpan to super rocky, so little shovels, spades and rakes such as these can get worn or broken pretty quickly. Plus, I lose them all the time. My answer to this problem is to use good quality, but economical tools. This set meets that criteria without question. They aren’t junky and they seem to hold up well. The handles feel good. They have a rubberized grip and they fit my hand well. So, while they will never be mistaken for high-end garden specialty store garden tools, they do a good job and I won’t worry about losing or breaking them. The variety is very nice with lots of options for different needs. The tote bag is helpful too. I think this set is a good option for garden hand tools and I am satisfied with their performance.

Not only do you get the soil scoop, the small trowel and the hand rake that are the basics of any garden tool kit. The set also includes a cultivator, both pruner and pruning shares, a weeder and something I have never seen before in any set, a weeding knife. Individually, you could get much better tools but as a set, this is probably the most complete and high quality set I've ever gotten. Some of the items, I had to look up, to see how it worked. It's also great that this set came with a carrying tote and gloves to keep things organized. The repotting mat alone will save me hours of clean up time.

This will be good for me as someone who just putters and doesn’t really do any serious gardening, but the quality would not be good enough for serious labor. The gloves were feeling a little gummy and sticking together already, which I hope doesn’t mean they’ll go gooey in the bag. The tools feel a little light, but I think they’ll get the job done for what I need. This set comes with a lot of variety, which I like, and the bag is nice, but a little too tall to stand up well. If you’re just looking for a nice entry level set and you don’t necessarily intend to do any heavy gardening, this is a good set for you to get started

I've gone through my fair share of garden tools over the years, some expensive, some cheap. This falls somewhere towards the better made tools, but not the best quality I've had. The tools seem well made, and should be durable enough to last for a while with general gardening tasks. If you tend to occassionaly beat up your tools like I do, they may "tire out" a bit faster than a high quality set. Still a great value at the price. I'm not the biggest fan of the bag or gloves, the gloves don't fit me, and the carrying tote is kind of odd in the way it's configured. Overall a great set of tools to have handy, a few drawbacks although they don't ruin the product!
