Our shrubs and hedges are planted against the fences. There's no room to get on the other side of them that is against the fences to either blow the leaves out or take them out. I decided to look on Amazon for a rake with a smaller head, extra long handle, but the head had to be strong. Bingo! Lucky to find this. Perfect for the main reason we needed it. The yard is huge. Now we have a method for getting all the leaves out onto the grass and then mulch them with the mower. Saves us a lot of time and the area around the hedges and shrubs look much better. The handle and the head are very sturdy. The head is treated to prevent rust. No regrets. Highly recommended.

Nice quality rake and helps me clean my dogs outdoor potty area much faster. Only giving 4 stars because I'm missing a section of the handle. The images show 5 pieces to assemble but I only received 4, therefore the rake is shorter than I would like.

The length of this rake is adjustable, but I bought it due to the claim that the spread of the tines was also adjustable. Looking at the rake head, everything looks solid and I can see welds where the horizontal brace intersects with the tines. So if the spread of this rake can be adjusted then I don't see how. Outside of that major issue, the rake seems sturdy and well designed. I'll keep it as I want to get some work done today and the rake costs about what I would have paid in my local big box store. But my overall rating reflects the misleading description.
