I was happy to find larger protector pads for my floor plants as I do have to turn them once in a while when the brunches tilt towards the window. Now the wooden floors are finally protected. I am using the rest under medium and small plants that I have on the piano and on tables, and if it wasn’t for the white tag that sticks out, they blend on the surfaces nicely. I have ended up cutting out those tags. I thought I could water these plants directly on the surfaces they are at, but I have to be very careful not to overwater as the pads do absorb the excess of water, and they stay wet or moist. In other words, they are not going to protect the wooden surfaces from water damage. I often times continue watering under the sink and use these just as wood protectors. I had a large pad and a medium one leftover, so I cut one into smaller coasters to use when we have guests, and we serve chill drinks. I really like that they absorb the liquid that drips, they are just right for this use. The other one I am using to put a a warm appetizer on. That works well too. I’m thinking on cutting it into a square to set a small clay casserole that I use a lot to serve hot/warm dips, so It can protect my counter top from scratches. I’d say these are worth getting for the price, quality, and versatility.
