Holds together well and works as the tool should. I'm genuinely surprised how well it works since most multi-piece tools are flimsy. Handles have a great texture too to give a solid grip. You can remove the majority of the handle and use it as a makeshift hand rake too, which is neat.

My old hoe finally died! I saw this and decided to try it without much expectation. Now, I don't know how I got anything done without it! I was worried the "joints" wouldn't stay together. Actually they do quite well. I had one particularly tough clearing job to do and the handle did rattle on that one but I was expecting it and simply tightened all the joints. I used this item for the first time, and it worked perfectly. I would suggest getting the longer version of it, unless you are short. But it was easy to assemble and pretty sturdy. I purchased the 31”, so the longer one is 36”, quick delivery too!
