Wanted a natural looking bench in a secluded landscaped area. This piece is perfect for that. Should have checked height prior to purchase, as it is lower than most benches. This bench is a decorative, conversation piece.

This is a quality piece of statuary and is functional as a beautiful bench. We have high desert winds and this piece was so heavy it took two or three men to place it. As others mentioned it was way to low to the ground so our landscape designer placed it on slabs of rock, millions of years old from the bottom of the Grand Canyon. It looks beautiful and is very comfortable to sit in. I use it to meditate from looking out towards our Mission Delores and Grand Canyon west from our property. It came packaged on a pallet and wrapped very securely in several pieces by a special delivery truck with a lift gate. We moved it to the final location with our tractor! I absolutely love this bench. Like others have mentioned, it is on the small side but it worked extremely well for what I need for in our Japanese garden in our front yard. My husband who is a extremely strong man said it weighed a ton for such a small item but at least I know someone will thing twice about ever stealing this thing from our front lawn. LOL This is really a quality piece and the seller was great with always getting back to me in answering my questions. Highly recommend this item! ... show more
