These work really well. We are in a rental house and I don't think the garbage disposal has EVER been cleaned. It stunk and looked disgusting. The first time I used one the garbage disposal sounded a bit rough, chopping it up and it foamed in both sinks. Yay. The next time it was a little less foam (not as disgusting in there). The price feels a bit steep at first until you factor in the fact that you are getting an entire year's worth of product in one package. Plus, I find that the product is regularly on sale and/or has a coupon offer bringing the cost down significantly. Using this product was a great experience. My partner I rent a house, and she regularly used store bought tablets and hot water and vinegar to clean the disposal, but there are still lingering smells. We ended up buying these on a lightning deal. They work, especially the first time it says 2 tablets. The color of the foam changed to orange and I saw it was removing buildup. Excellent product.
