I am in my 50s and this sweater reminds me of the 90s when I had one very similar that I used to wear a lot with a white crewneck tee, faded jeans, and loafers. Super excited to bring the look back! It's hard to find a really high-quality sweater that's comfy and roomy, lays right so it doesn't make you look frumpy, isn't itchy, and is neither too heavy nor too thin. This sweater ticks ALL the right boxes. Quality you'd expect from this brand. And a timeless, classic look that will wear well for a long time to come. The color is a rich black -- hope that comes through in the photo. The quality of the knit fabric and the stitching are top notch. I ordered a small (my usual size, at 5'6" and around 135 pounds) and the fit couldn't be more perfect. I'm so excited for cooler weather to begin. I will be wearing this all winter long!

If you’re sensitive to itchy type fabrics, this may be perfect for you! This sweater is so soft, smooth and comfortable it’s a loose fit and I’d say it even runs a bit larger than average. I typically wear 3x (290lbs and 5’5”) and this is a 2x and it’s still loose, also the arms are a bit long but the wrist area prevents the sleeves from falling over my hands. I took off 1 star due to the sizing, but if you can get the right size it is a really nice and so soft sweater.

I truly love GAP products and this sweater is no exception. It is soft, lightweight and so comfortable. It can be dressed up or down, it can be layered or worn as is and is worth purchasing in multiple colors! Follow the care instructions and this will last for years, as GAP is a company that takes pride in the quality of their products in my humble opinion. I’ve been a GAP girl for decades when my grandma used to shop for my clothing there and here I am, now shopping for my own children and if I am blessed to in the years to come… I hope to shop for my own grandchild(ren) there as well.

I didn't think I'd like this sweater because sweaters can be hit or miss and the style isn't quite what I usually buy. Sometimes you get one and it's uncomfortable and itchy, etc. This sweater is SO SOFT and comfortable. It is oversized. I got my usual size and it's pretty big. I think I could have gotten a medium or even maybe a small if I wanted it more fitting. However, I like the oversized sweater look and feel. If you want something that fits tighter, definitely size down, maybe even twice, depending on your body type. If you get it too big, I could see this looking very dumpy, again, depending. But if you like this sweater and the way it looks, but wonder about how it feels, it's so soft and comfortable, and I'm very, very picky about sweaters and how they feel. I really like it a lot.

I wanted to love this sweater. I have blonde hair & fair skin. Some neutrals wash me out but I decided to try the toasted almond and I really love the color. I also love the texture, it is soft and has a nice thickness to it with out being stiff. Unfortunately it is so oversized its basically unwearable. I'm a solid medium. I'm slightly wider at the shoulders and am more of an apple shape than pear. 5'3" approx 135lbs and this thing fits me like a house. I'm so sad. If it had some shape and was true to size it would probably be one of my favorite sweaters. I attached a picture of a relaxed fit carhartt medium sweatshirt that I bought at the same time, for reference to how wide this sweater is. Keep in mind the sweatshirt is a bit baggy. I don't even know if I'll wear it around the house because it makes me feel so frumpy. I'm not sure what happened, it's not advertised as oversized. I definitely expected more from The Gap.

I love this sweater. It’s soft, thick, and looks great, just what I wanted for fall. I’m a classic size large, and it fits slightly oversized in the best way. If you prefer a closer fit, you might size down, but I love the relaxed look. The cotton-acrylic blend feels luxurious and warm, and the bit of nylon adds stretch and comfort. It’s also machine washable, which makes it easy to care for. I got the toasted almond color, and it’s a beautiful neutral I’ll wear all season. Perfect for layering or pairing with a scarf when it gets colder. Great quality and style. Recommend.

This GAP V-Neck sweater is soft and comfortable. The material is just right, not too thin, not too heavy. I got the Toasted Almond color, which looks lighter in person than in the photos. I ordered an X-Small, but it feels oversized since it’s quite wide. It's more like a Medium on me. I really wanted to love this sweater, but I prefer a more fitted look over an oversized fit. I wish the product description mentioned that it's an oversized sweater.

The media could not be loaded. For starters, this is absolutely lovely! I’m a GAP fan so knowing it was a GAP product right away was a big plus. I wasn’t sure about the color but I’m so glad I went with the Toasted Almond. I don’t feel like I own a lot of things in this color so it was a pleasant change. I could not WAIT to see if the feel of it was as soft as I had hoped and it IS! It is heavenly. I love the cuffs of the sleeves and the neckline so much - it’s so well made and looks like great quality. I will say the biggest thing I noticed is I wish I had ordered a size down! I got a size medium, and I tend to wear things in medium size generally. I like the looser fit, but I do wish that I had ordered a small in this case because I think it would have suited me better. The one thing to note is that it was rather wrinkled from being in the packaging, especially in the back. The instructions inside say that you can iron it with a cool iron, so I will try that before I actually wear it. I suppose there’s no way around that when they ship the sweater. Overall, I absolutely love it.
