I found the CashSoft sweater impressively soft—it really does feel almost like cashmere, but at a much more accessible price.  The mid-weight knit drapes nicely and works equally well for relaxed weekends or dressed-up with tailored pieces. A minor note: the fit is straight and hits at the hip, so if you prefer a more cropped or snug look you might want to consider sizing down.  Overall: a great everyday knit that delivers comfort, quality and style without breaking the bank.

I got the GAP Womens Cashsoft Crewneck Pullover Sweater in Blue Heather, XX-Large. I would say that the XXL is pretty true to the size chart and a little bigger than most XXLs. I wish I'd ordered the XL instead. I like an oversized sweater, but I think this one would still give me a roomy but fitted look in an XL. The XXL is big enough that I get more of a shapeless effect. The overall look is relaxed, but cropped. I personally prefer a longer length in a relaxed sweater. The Cashsoft name implies the softness of cashmere, but there is none in the fabric. This sweater is 53% Cotton, 24% Nylon , and 23% Acrylic. I don't think that mix is a great value for the price. I'd rather pay a bit more for cashmere. I actually didn't find this sweater that soft, but it isn't itchy at all, which is nice. The blue color is quite pretty and held up well through washing. I reshaped the sweater and laid it flat to dry, which seemed to work well. This is a nicely warm sweater. It is definitely a good layer to stay comfortable on a cold day. This sweater is okay, but I have other sweaters I like better in both look and feel.

Really happy with this sweater! The fabric is soft, good quality, and cozy without being too thick or bulky. It’s not see-through at all, which I appreciate. The fit is just right—not oversized, but not tight either. Just a classic crewneck that looks clean and flattering. I'm 5'5" and 135 lbs and ordered a medium—it fits true to size and the color looks exactly like the photos. Highly recommend!

Okay, for those looking for the ideal sweater to add to your collection, you can stop scrolling through the endless online options and just add this quality gem to your cart! On a scale of 1–10 for softness, this lands right near the top—just under "baby alpaca." I couldn’t find a single spot on this sweater that felt even remotely itchy. The seams at the armpits, shoulders, collar, and wrists are integrated so well that even those areas are super soft. The only area of question would be the tag and it is tacked on at only two spots and would easily removed for those sensitive to that issue. The arm length is long enough to wear scrunched up, the torso has a relaxed fit, and the bottom hits right at the waist—perfect for a layered look. I have pics to show the fit. My model is a size small but appreciated the fit of the size medium for layering and so that it didn't look cropped by hitting her high hip/belly button area. This sweater is ideal for brisk morning coffee runs, pumpkin patch photo shoots with the family, hayrides, cheering on your favorite athlete at the local field, or just curling up on the couch.

This sweater is so SOFT. Some sweaters can feel itchy at first and even bothersome after a full day but I wore this to work for a full 10 hours and it remained soft the moment I put it on to the moment I took it off. I probably could’ve done with purchasing a Large but the XL is a nice oversized fit. Definitely true to size. The quality feels high end and had no smell upon arrival. I haven’t washed it yet so I’m not sure how it’ll hold up long term. I hate to spend this much on a sweater but because of the quality, I’d be likely to purchase this is another color. Depends how it holds up after a wash. This sweater could last many season!

Love the color. Often the colors on the photos are distorted. The fabric feels soft. Very nice on the skin. The quality is quite good. The seams are done well, the cuffs are about 2 inches on sleeves and bottom and the collar's cuff is about one inch. The stitches are nice and tight. I got a Medium and it's a roomy sweater but basically true to size and just as the photos on line, the sweater is not very Long, it's bottom cuff will sit atop your regular jeans waistline. I washed it on a normal cycle. The sweater Kelt it's shape and color. The tag says to dry flat but I put it in the dryer for about 15 minutes on medium heat before laying it out flat. The size and shape were not changed - I don't know if a full dryer cycle on high will affect it but given the composition of the fabric (53% cotton, 24% nylon and 23% acrylic) I think a moderate heat had less than 20 minutes will be safe.

I’m not usually a sweater wearer, but this one completely won me over. I’m very particular about how clothes feel against my skin, and this sweater is the perfect soft blend, lightweight, cozy, and free of bulky seams or itchy tags. It feels smooth, high-quality, and honestly more like a luxury piece than a basic everyday sweater. I originally bought it for an upcoming trip to a northern state, but I’ve already started wearing it on cool mornings, and I love it. It’s warm without being heavy and looks great both dressed up and casual. So far it also washes really well. I lay it flat to dry as a preventative measure, then toss it in the dryer on light heat for about 10 minutes, works like a charm. The quality really holds up. Definitely a new favorite in my wardrobe!
