Sweatshirt is well made, color is as shown. It fits true to size as the looser current fashion look. It washes beautifully in cold water wash with a low dryer. There is no running of color. It is a very comfortable soft feeling sweatshirt of medium weight. It would be good for crisp fall days.

Thoughtful design elements elevate this shirt above the ordinary. What initially attracted me was the same-color embroidered logo on the chest. It's a nice dimensional touch, only noticeable when the light hits it. I also liked the casual chunky ribbing, which I am happy to say looks the same in person as it looked in the listing. The fabric is a soft fleece-lined knit, about medium weight for a sweatshirt. It's perfect for transitional weather, and if I get a little warm, the sleeves push up nicely. When I first pulled it out of the bag, the fabric had a weird synthetic feel, but I've encountered this before, and have learned that washing is the solution. I turned it inside out, put it through a cold/delicate wash, and dried on low. It now looks and feels good! Pet owners take note: The fabric attracts more pet fur than average. It's meant to be oversized, and the fit is good even though I had to order one size down because my size wasn't available. The shirt is still slightly oversized, loose through the body and with sleeves that are more than long enough. I like it, but I would have been even happier if I'd ordered my regular size because I like 'em loose.

I have received multiple compliments wearing this sweatshirt. The small black on black logo and the cut of it almost looks a little dressy. It is a light sweatshirt so I'm hoping to wear it all season. It is on the shorter side which is great if you want to show off a belt.

This isn't the highest quality item, but then again, it's a thirty some dollar sweatshirt from the GAP. It's perfectly fine and acceptable for the price point. The sizing is nice, it's good to see petite options for those that aren't quite as tall and don't need a sweatshirt down to their legs. It's soft and comfy, and the black holds up in washes without pilling or anything. The ribbed bit around the neck might annoy some people, but it's fine for me.
