Warm and stylish

The GAP is well known for the quality of their products. This hoodie is no exception. It is made of 77% Cotton and 23% Polyester. It has a fleece inside lining and long sleeves. It will keep me warm without making me feel overheated. It is durable and has reinforced stitching. The stitching on the entire hoodie is precise. The fabric is soft to the touch and gives me a cozy feeling. This hoodie is comfortable enough to wear all day. I ordered a size up in the Ruby Wine color. This hoodie is true to its color. I like my hoodies to be oversized. I am satisfied with the overside fit. If you are not sure what size to order, a sizing chart is available. This hoodie is machine washable on a gentle cycle. The GAP logo is embroidered on the front of the hoodie. The embroidered is neat, clean and bold. The letters are done in black with a white trim. The words EST 1969 is neatly printed in white below their logo. The two colors blend well with each other. This hoodie has a full length zipper and the hood is securely attached. The hood has a drawstring. I like hoods with drawstrings. I use the drawstring on windy days. Once I pull the drawstring tight, it will cut down on the amount of wind I feel blowing on my head. The drawstring has an unraveling finish. The zipper is neatly sewn in place. The zipper worked flawlessly. It did not get stuck or jam during my testing. This hoodie has 2 nice size front pockets. I was able to carry my cell phone and keys in the pockets. The location of the pocket makes them easy and comfortable to utilize. The pockets seem to be reinforced. This could prevent you from getting holes in your pocket even when carrying keys. The bottom of this hoodie and the sleeve cuffs are ribbed. This ribbing adds style and shape to this hoodie. This hoodie is versatile. It can be worn for lounging, shopping and other daily activities. I will be wearing this hoodie when I go shopping. I will also carry it in my tote bag to wear when I am inside an air conditioned store. I think this hoodie is a good value for the money.

Oversized fit

This hoodie is soft and cozy, and the color in the product pics are accurate. It feels like standard sweatshirt weight…not too heavy, not too light. The GAP logo is embroidered in navy and white thread. The “EST. 1969” is screen printed. I was unsure about what size to order. In women’s hoodies I’m usually a size medium, so that’s what I ordered. It fits okay, but it’s definitely oversized. I think this may actually be unisex sizing. All my other womens hoodies have the zipper pull on the left side. This hoodie has the zipper pull on the right side. So keep that in mind when you order. For reference, these are the measurements of the medium: Sleeve length is 29” (measured from the hood/neck seam to the end of the sleeve cuff) Zipper length is 21.5” Chest width is 23” (measured from armpit to armpit)

Well made and super comfortable

I absolutely love this Gap zip-up hoodie, now that it's officially spring, it’s become a go-to in my wardrobe. The fabric is a 77% cotton / 23% polyester blend, and it feels incredibly soft on the outside and even softer on the inside. It’s cozy without being too heavy, perfect as a medium-weight layer. It's a versatile jacket, I can wear it on its own in the spring or fall, layer it when it’s colder, or just lounge around in it comfortably. I chose the blue version. The Gap logo is blue and white, made up of three separate patches—one for each letter—all carefully and neatly sewn on. Underneath, it says “EST 1969” in white, which is applied cleanly. The overall stitching is high quality, and the zipper glides smoothly without any issues. I usually wear a size large, but I sized up to an extra large because I prefer a looser, more relaxed fit. It fits exactly the way I like, comfortable and not restrictive at all. Overall, this is a well-made, stylish, and super comfortable hoodie that I’d definitely recommend.

A bit pricey

I have to say that I absolutely love this hooded sweatshirt with a full front zipper. Like all new sweatshirts, the material is wonderfully soft and comfortable, and feels very durable - like it’s going to last years. It’s thick enough to keep me warm throughout the camping trip that I’m on, and the deep navy blue color is great and goes well with my jeans, of course. I ordered a large size and it fits perfectly, i.e., nice and roomy without being too big and baggy. My only issue with this sweatshirt is the price. Right now, it’s on sale for $51, down from $60. While I love the sweatshirt, I don’t feel that having the name “GAP” on the front is really worth $50 or $60. There’re comparable sweatshirts available for a lot less.
