I ordered this in XXL like I usually do with hoodies and jackets, but this one fits much larger than expected. The length is long through the body, and there’s a lot of extra room overall. It’s not just a little loose, it feels oversized to the point where I could probably size down and still have space. The material feels fine and the stitching looks clean, but the sizing is definitely something to be aware of. If you’re between sizes or prefer a closer fit, I’d recommend going down one. I’ll still wear it around the house or for casual errands, but it’s not something I’d grab if I wanted a more fitted look.

I’ll start by saying I’m not usually the kind of guy who writes reviews. But every now and then, you come across a piece of clothing that just checks all the boxes — and for me, that’s the GAP Men’s Logo Track Jacket. I picked this up on a bit of a whim. I’ve been trying to upgrade a few things in my wardrobe without going overboard, and I wanted something casual that still looked put-together — something I could wear to the store, out for a walk, or even while traveling without looking like I just rolled out of bed. This track jacket hit the mark right away. Let’s talk about the fit first. I’m in my mid-40s, about 6 feet tall, and not exactly the same shape I was at 25. I went with a size large, and it fits just the way I like — comfortable without being baggy, and not tight in the shoulders or arms. The material has just a little stretch to it, so it moves with you, whether you’re sitting in the car for a long drive or out for a jog. The cut is flattering, and the length hits right at the hip — not too long, not too short. My wife even commented that it looked “clean,” which, from her, is high praise. The material feels great. It’s a smooth, mid-weight fabric — soft on the inside, with a slightly more structured outer finish. It’s not too thick, which makes it great for layering. I’ve worn it over a t-shirt on cool mornings, and under a heavier coat when it’s colder out. It breathes well and doesn’t feel like it traps heat the way some synthetic materials do. After several washes, it’s still holding up well — no pilling or fading, and the cuffs haven’t stretched out. What I really appreciate is the simple, classic design. The GAP logo is there, but it’s not screaming for attention. Just the right amount of branding — subtle enough that it looks stylish, not like you’re trying too hard. The full zip is smooth, and the collar stands up nicely if you want that sporty look. The ribbing on the sleeves and waist is snug but comfortable, which helps keep everything in place. I’ve owned a lot of GAP clothing over the years — some hits, some misses — but this jacket reminds me of what GAP does best: simple, reliable basics that look good and wear well. For the price, the quality feels spot-on. It's not some ultra-premium designer jacket, but it doesn't pretend to be. It's just a really solid piece that does its job and does it well. One small thing to note: if you're between sizes, I’d suggest going with the larger one unless you like a slim fit. The cut is more on the athletic side, but not overly tight. For me, the large was perfect, but if I’d gone medium it would’ve been snug in the shoulders. All in all, I’m very happy with this jacket. This GAP logo track jacket has a classic look. Track jackets like this have been popular for ages, and this jacket encompasses why. Nice clean styling with a look that does not go out of style. This GAP jacket looks to be well made, stitching that is robust, straight and clean along the waist, arms wrists and neck. (photo) The weight of the material allows this jacket to be worn a good portion of the year--perfect for the fall and spring, when a light jacket is all you need. The interior shell is very soft and comfortable. The product page details indicate it is 100% cotton, but the label on the jacket indicates 77% cotton/23% polyester blend. (photo) This makes more sense. It's a trendy look but has great utility use. The price is a little higher than some other "track jackets", but this looks like it will have lasting power. I am looking forward to using the jacket when the weather cools and after workouts.

The fabric feels smooth and thick enough for fall mornings. The zipper glides easy and the collar stands up clean without folding. I wore it on a few walks and it kept me warm without overheating. Pockets zip closed and the cuffs hold their shape. I washed it cold, dried low, and it still looks new. It gives that sporty look that works for errands or layering. Definitely one of those jackets that feels more expensive than it is.

Gap isn't just for kids or teens, anymore. It has evolved in it's design and quality. This Gap Men's Logo Track Jacket demonstrates that point. The 100% cotton has a nice thickness, softness and comforting feel to it. It seems durable, well stitched and substantial. The color has a nice saturation, yet muted to give it a natural vintage look. The stipe design running down the arms cement the vintage and classic design. It fits well in the shoulders and the arms. But, I personally think the small runs a little like a medium. I like the fit, but it doesn't run as small as the size smalls I normally wear. So, take that for what you will. The zipper is solid and durable. Overall, I am very pleased with the design and quality of this track jacket. It's perfect for Fall and Winter wearing.

Nicer sweatshirt than I thought. Its super soft. I got the xl for my husband and it fits him great. Doesn't shrink when washed or dried and the zipper works well. Great price for the quality. Its not super thick, but not super thin. Its more of a lightweight sweatshirt.
