These Gap Men's Vintage sweatpants are very soft, and the extra small fits me. Sort of. I am female, and have a preference for the quality of men's sweatpants, but the waist stitching is like Fort Knox. It is wide, and stiff, and if polyester thread is used, scratchy. And often just a bit too tight. So... I removed all the waist stitching, put in slightly narrower and softer elastic, and restitched the waist (and pockets) by hand. For these, I also removed the cuff elastic, as it was a bit snug. For about $15 for nice sweatpants, I think it will be worth the time I spent come winter. ... show more

My son is 12 years old and already 5'7" - mostly legs. He has outgrown youth pants, but it's hard to find pants small enough in the waist that have long enough legs. These fit the bill. Rude sweatpants are the best. Super comfortable, especially for lounging around the house, etc. These seem to be designed to be a bit baggy- I usually wear a small, or sometimes a medium, but for these I had to order extra small to get sweatpants that were true to fit (I’ve never had to get an extra small size since I was a child, so it’s very unusual). So if you don’t want them to be extra baggy, check the measurements and choose by those and not the size label. ... show more
