Nice ribbed tanks but runs large and long. I am 5'4" 134#'s and the size small fit like a mini dress. I like wearing the men's b/c they are better made and all cotton, so thought I would try these. The fabric is a thick, soft and stretchy ribbed fabric so that is great, thicker than many these days. But it fit me more like a men's size medium to large, and the armholes were too long, so it did not cover the brassiere very well. These also have a wider fit, not fitted. I tried to shrink it by washing in hot water and drying till dry, but to no avail. Still too big. Had to donate. ... show more

Looks good, feels good, fits good, and has held up to washing. Not sure how much more you can say about a tank top. I guess I would say that you could probably do about as well for half the price, but these are nicer than a basic tank for sure.

    • Soft ribbed tanks that actually stay put

I’ve been wearing this GAP 2-pack in Grey Heather for a couple of weeks. Medium fits true for me. The rib knit hugs without feeling tight and the length is generous, so it stays tucked when I’m moving around or reaching up. Fabric feels thicker than the usual multipack tanks I’ve owned and it keeps its shape after washes. No collar curl. No side seam twist. Layering is where these shine. Under an overshirt or hoodie they add warmth without bulk. On their own they look clean because the rib hides little ripples and the heather color doesn’t show sweat easily. For workouts they’re fine for lifting or errands after the gym, but since they’re 100 percent cotton they’re not the best for long cardio sessions. Wash notes from my runs through the laundry. Cold wash with like colors. Low dry. I saw only a tiny bit of tightening that relaxed after wearing for an hour. The armholes and neckline are finished neatly and didn’t stretch out. Well now, I tell you what, I just got this 2-pack, and I have to say, these things really rock. They’re a lovely lightweight tank to wear just around the house, or I can throw an open button-up shirt over them. I feel like Bowen Yang when I put them on, they're so fancy! They're just great basic white tees, and they're made of cotton, so they're nice and breathable, which is essential here in Manama. I got the X-Large, and the fit is just right, very comfortable.
