The GAP Boys’ Woven Cargo Joggers turned out to be a really great purchase for my son. Right away I noticed how durable the material feels, but it still has enough stretch so he can move comfortably whether he’s at school, playing outside, or just lounging around. The elastic waistband with the drawstring is a big plus because it keeps the fit secure without being tight, and the cargo pockets are actually useful instead of just decorative, he loves having extra space for his little gadgets and treasures. The tapered leg with the cuff at the bottom keeps the pants looking neat instead of sloppy, which I really appreciate. Price-wise, they’re not the cheapest, but for the quality, comfort, and how often he’s been wearing them, I definitely feel like I got my money’s worth. I actually bought these pants for myself because I prefer the simplicity of boys’ pants. As someone who finds women’s sizing and styles overwhelming, these felt like the perfect option. I’ve been going through some medical changes that caused significant weight loss, so I used the size chart carefully and was excited to find this exact style with a drawstring for flexibility. When they arrived, the fit was perfect—except they sent me the Long version (3XL‑Long, clearly marked on the tag). That was disappointing since I’ll now need to get them altered; otherwise, they’ll just sit in my closet. That said, I really love the color, the simple design, and especially the drawstring feature, which leaves room for changes in fit. Aside from the sizing error, these are exactly what I was looking for, and the quality is fantastic, exactly what you expect from GAP. From what I can tell, there isn't a lot of stretch in the pants legs, but they do feel super durable. There is stretch in the waist due to the drawstring/elastic waistband.
