The GAP Boys’ Woven Cargo Joggers turned out to be a really great purchase for my son. Right away I noticed how durable the material feels, but it still has enough stretch so he can move comfortably whether he’s at school, playing outside, or just lounging around. The elastic waistband with the drawstring is a big plus because it keeps the fit secure without being tight, and the cargo pockets are actually useful instead of just decorative, he loves having extra space for his little gadgets and treasures. The tapered leg with the cuff at the bottom keeps the pants looking neat instead of sloppy, which I really appreciate. I have been looking at cotton clothing for my 9 year old as we are replacing all polyester clothing in our wardrobes with natural fiber based materials. Polyester never feels good on the skin, and it also exposes us to harmful chemicals, so cotton is much preferred. I was excited to try these GAP 100% cotton cargo joggers as they seemed to be a perfect fit for fall weather. These joggers have exceeded our expectations. They are really nice and cool to touch, as you would expect from 100% cotton pants, and the fit and finish is exemplary. The drawstring is a nice touch as my son is slim and tall, so pants that fit his length tend to be too loose on his waist. We ordered the pants in large and my son wore them today for the first time. They are a bit on the larger size, but should fit him nicely for another year. Overall, these pants are really high quality and are a perfect fit for fall weather. I actually bought these pants for myself because I prefer the simplicity of boys’ pants. As someone who finds women’s sizing and styles overwhelming, these felt like the perfect option. I’ve been going through some medical changes that caused significant weight loss, so I used the size chart carefully and was excited to find this exact style with a drawstring for flexibility. When they arrived, the fit was perfect—except they sent me the Long version (3XL‑Long, clearly marked on the tag). That was disappointing since I’ll now need to get them altered; otherwise, they’ll just sit in my closet. That said, I really love the color, the simple design, and especially the drawstring feature, which leaves room for changes in fit. Aside from the sizing error, these are exactly what I was looking for, and the quality is fantastic, exactly what you expect from GAP. From what I can tell, there isn't a lot of stretch in the pants legs, but they do feel super durable. There is stretch in the waist due to the drawstring/elastic waistband. My son has gone through a growth spurt and I needed to order him some new pants. I saw these GAP boys' woven jogger pants with cargo pockets. The pants are comfortable and are easy to pull on and down when needed. There is a drawstring waist that will allow him to wear these even as he grows. These joggers fit true to size. The fabric is a nice thickness and the stitching is done well. There are multiple pockets and the draw string waist is great for adjusting the waistband. These look great on my son and are comfortable for him to wear.
