Description

Serious power no longer needs a bulky amplifier. GaN Mono brings next-generation GaN power into a palm-sized body designed for clean, modern desktop HiFi systems. ALSOZONE GaN Mono is available in silver and black finishes, combining a compact form with a clean, modern design. Its understated appearance fits naturally into desktop audio systems, home HiFi setups, and other modern listening spaces. The compact GaN Mono fits neatly alongside bookshelf speakers and other HiFi equipment, helping keep your listening space clean and organized. Its small footprint makes it ideal for desktop systems, shelves, and home audio setups where space matters. The GaN Mono features a precision CNC-machined, one-piece aluminum alloy chassis that combines strength, durability, and exceptional performance. Crafted by the 3eAudio engineering team—which specializes in high-performance amplifiers, transparent sound quality, low distortion, and reliable manufacturing processes—it is dedicated to serving music enthusiasts worldwide. Designed specifically to deliver authentic, high-performance audio. Do I need two units for a normal 2.0 speaker system? Yes. A standard left/right stereo system requires two GaN Mono amplifiers: one for the left speaker and one for the right speaker. This monoblock design also makes future system expansion easier. What is the advantage of a monoblock design? A monoblock system gives each speaker channel its own dedicated amplifier. This supports cleaner channel separation, easier system scaling and a more modular HiFi setup for stereo or multi-channel systems. Is the power supply included? No. The power supply is sold separately. For best performance, we recommend theALSOZONE 48V/5A power supply or a compatible 48V DC power supply that meets the specified requirements. What is Auto mode? Auto mode detects the audio signal and can automatically wake the amplifier or enter standby when no signal is present. The Auto sensitivity can be adjusted to better match different source devices. Why choose GaN Mono over a cheaper mini amplifier? GaN Mono is built for users who want more than a basic small amp. It combines GaN technology, monoblock architecture, XLR/TRS + RCA connectivity, smart power control, low heat, a compact metal design and a modern desktop HiFi experience.

  • Great Sounding Powerful Mono GaN Class D Amplifier
Color: Silver
I purchased two mono amplifiers. This was not a bundle so I separately purchased two 48v5a power supplies. These GaN mono amplifiers sound great. Very musical and dynamic and powerful. It puts out 300 watts for my 4 ohm passive speaker. I was able to fill my 20' by 15' living room with the following setup with ease: 1. Pair of Alsozone GaN Power Amplifier 2. Fiio BR15 DAC / Bluetooth Receiver 3. Elac Debut 6.3 Passive Speakers 4. RSL 10e Subwoofer 5. iPhone to stream music to the DAC ... show more

  • solid mono amp, quiet operation, no power supply
Color: Black
I got this because I needed a compact, high-efficiency mono amp for a single microphone speaker this one is a 300W Class D monoblock featuring GaN which I like. balanced XLR/TRS and RCA inputs, 108dB SNR, adjustable gain, 12V trigger support, and a fanless aluminum chassis. You simply connect your input, attach your passive speaker to the output terminals, and power it using a compatible 48V/5A power supply. I like this one because the GaN architecture delivers 95% efficiency and clean power in a completely silent, fanless mini enclosure. do not like the power supply not being included in the box, as you have to source a separate 48V/5A power supply unit. and make sure it's the right size connector. pretty big hassle. But tbf they do list that in the title. overall a powerful mini monoblock that works well for HiFi stereo or home theater setups. ... show more

  • FABULOUS little amp, Clean sound, powerful, noise free at a good cost!
Color: Black
The recent appearance of Gallium Nitride (GaN) amplifiers has revolutionized the small amplifier industry. Gallium Nitride was one of the earliest semiconductors (we're talking 1940's here) and has long left Silicon Dioxide in it's dust performance wise. It handles HUGE current flows while staying totally cool, removing the need for fans. It also switches on and off MUCH faster allowing it to handle high frequencies much more clearly than Si does. When it does get hot it handles it better than Si. So why are we just now seeing it move into it's glory? The scientists FINALLY found a manufacturing procedure that stabilizes it's structure. It's always been powerful but highly fragile during the growth process meaning yields were very low and early failures frequent. NOW they have a totally new manufacturing process that virtually eliminates those issues letting it take it place as the master for amplifiers, low noise power supplies and many other uses. ALSOZONE has produced an amazing small amp that really does what it says - huge power, silent operation, no distortion or noise in the audio stream, tiny footprint, and a killer price - $101 at time of review! One thing that struck me as a long time Audio repair Tech was the incredibly well thought out inputs and outputs. There is some hot competition in this space, it's the companies that pay attention to the details and make units with flexibility to adjust to your changing needs that have me nodding and saying "THAT'S how you do it!" This design is compatible with almost any setup. I've built my main audio / video system over the years adding pieces that are "top of their game". I have one piece, a 5 channel amp that cost $3500 and works flawlessly. If I were to take 5 of these ALSOZONE 300W amps and run them against it I know that sound wise 90% of all humans would NOT be able to decern the difference! Virtually no distortion. Sheer power-wise my big amp would win but not by much! Now, one important thing - you need to have a GREAT power supply to get THAT level of response out of this unit. The amp has the guts to do it but an amp is only as clean as the power supplied to it. You CAN get awesome sound from a 24 volt 5 amp supply, but to get the best power - like for subwoofer use or driving full tower speakers you should expect to use a 48v 10A supply. If you can get a GaN power supply, even better as it's noise floor will compliment this and allow it to really shine. Others have noted that this should come with a power supply. Let me address this. When I buy a new car I'd like to have the $5000 audio system in the base model. Now stop laughing. I WOULD like that and I'd like the car maker to give it to me free. Any questions? These amps are ROUTINELY and NORMALLY sold as separates. It's a MONO AMP why don't you ask for a free CHANNEL to make it stereo? 'Nuff said. Stop whining. Once again - at the a cost of $100 - $140 for this quality? W-I-N-N-E-R! I hope this helped you! EASY 5 stars, deserves 7. HIGHLY Recommended. ... show more

  • Compact and Quiet Mono Amplifier, but No Power Adapter Included
Color: Black
This is a compact, fanless mono amplifier with a sturdy metal enclosure and several useful connection options, including balanced XLR/TRS and RCA inputs. The adjustable gain, 12V trigger, auto standby, and manual power modes provide flexibility for different desktop audio setups. It also runs quietly and produces little heat, which is useful for near-field listening. The amplifier produces clean, clear sound with enough power for my passive bookshelf speaker in a desktop setup. I did not notice added noise or distortion at normal listening levels. Sound quality will also depend on the connected source, speakers, room, and power supply. This is a mono amplifier for powering one passive speaker, so a stereo setup requires two units. My main concern is that no power adapter is included. If you already have the compatible power adapter, it’s good. Because the amplifier requires a compatible 24–48V DC power source, finding the correct adapter may be inconvenient and adds to the total cost. Overall, it appears well suited to a compact desktop system, but the missing power supply makes the package feel incomplete. Once everything is setup it’s easy to use. ... show more

  • Compact Monoblock Design With Thoughtful Home Audio Connections
Color: Black
This amplifier makes the most sense once you view it for what it actually is: a compact, single-channel power amp that can sit close to the speaker or get folded into a larger system without demanding real rack space. I have been slowly building out a proper home audio setup, and this is exactly the kind of piece that fits the way I like to work, one solid component at a time instead of one giant all-in-one box. The case is only about 118 by 90 by 35 millimeters, so it is genuinely small compared with traditional home-audio amplifiers. It is also fanless, which matters a lot in a quiet room, since there is no little cooling fan competing with low-volume listening late at night. Connection options are unusually flexible for something this size. It accepts balanced XLR/TRS as well as unbalanced RCA, so it works with a conventional consumer preamp, a processor, or balanced audio equipment without needing an adapter cobbled together. I like having that choice because it lets the amplifier fit into the rest of my system instead of forcing the whole system to bend around one input type. The 12-volt trigger and automatic power feature are equally practical. A compact power amp is a lot more convenient when it wakes up along with the rest of the equipment instead of needing its own separate button press every time. In my initial setup, the unit stayed unobtrusive and did not add any fan noise of its own. The background stayed genuinely quiet at ordinary listening levels. The Class D and GaN design is advertised at 95 percent efficiency with a 108 dB signal-to-noise ratio. I do not have lab equipment sitting around to verify those exact numbers, so I am treating them as published specifications rather than pretending I personally measured them. What I can actually evaluate is the sensible layout, the quiet fanless operation, the compact footprint, and the useful input selection. The advertised output is 300 watts, but the available specifications do not clearly state the load impedance and test conditions behind that figure. Speaker impedance still needs to match the manual, and the amplifier should not be judged as though 300 watts applies identically under every possible condition. This is also a monoblock, meaning one unit powers one channel, so a normal two-channel stereo setup requires two of these. That is not a shortcoming on its own, but it is an important distinction for anyone used to buying a stereo amp in a single box. I powered everything down completely before connecting any speaker wire, checked for stray strands at the terminals, and left open space around the enclosure even though it does not rely on a fan. With those normal precautions handled, this has been a clean way to build out a compact amplified channel with either balanced or RCA input and automated power control. It gives me the flexibility I wanted without unnecessary bulk, and the initial setup has been clean and straightforward from the first connection ... show more

  • A Tiny Monoblock With Some Serious HiFi Features
Color: Black
I really like compact audio equipment that does not sacrifice useful features just to make everything smaller, and this ALSOZONE GaN monoblock has a lot going for it. The footprint is incredibly small, but the connectivity and power-management options make it interesting for a proper desktop or home audio setup. The first thing to understand is that this is a true monoblock amplifier. One unit powers one passive speaker, so if you are building a conventional stereo system, you need two of them. I actually like that approach because it gives you flexibility in how you arrange your equipment and lets you keep each amplifier close to its speaker. The input selection is excellent for something this small. Having both balanced XLR/TRS and standard RCA connections means it can work with a wide range of DACs, preamps, audio interfaces, and other equipment. The selectable gain is another useful feature for matching it to different sources. I especially appreciate the power-control options. The 12V trigger and automatic signal sensing are the kinds of features that make an amplifier feel like part of a complete system rather than another box that needs to be switched on manually every time. The fanless design is also a big plus. I do not want to hear a cooling fan sitting next to me while listening to music, and the compact metal enclosure gives it a clean, understated appearance. There is one very important detail in the listing, though: the power supply is not included. The advertised full output requires a suitable 48V/5A supply, so this is not a complete plug-and-play package right out of the box. I would also treat the 300W figure as a manufacturer rating rather than assume it represents continuous output under every speaker load and operating condition. Overall: This is a very interesting little monoblock amplifier with an excellent feature set for its size. The balanced inputs, adjustable gain, automatic power control, 12V trigger, and fanless construction make it particularly appealing for a compact HiFi system. Just remember that you need a suitable power supply, and two amplifiers if you want stereo. I really like the design and the flexibility it offers. ... show more

  • Great little amplifier. Strong power and easy to setup.
Color: Black
This amplifier is amazing for its size. The power it can produce is fantastic provided that you supply it the the correct power. The unit is compact, easy to setup and install. It is mono so you would need two to provide a stereo listening experience. I would supply this with the max voltage required to reduce the size of the power supply needed. The audio was crisp and clean with no distortion. It seems durable and gets a little warm after a while. The amplifier is compact so it is easy to hide somewhere out of sight if needed. I do think this is a great value and look forward to hopefully getting another one to complete the setup. ... show more

  • A Compact Monoblock Amp That Has Powered My Desktop Setup Cleanly
Color: Black
Been running this as part of a desktop HiFi setup for over a month now, paired with a bookshelf speaker, and the fanless design has genuinely delivered on the silent operation promise, no fan noise competing with music during quieter listening sessions or near field close range use. Sound output has felt controlled and clean, no distortion creeping in even pushing volume up for a more energetic session, plenty of headroom without the amp straining. XLR input has worked well connecting to my DAC, balanced connection has kept the signal clean without any noticeable noise floor or hum. Heat has stayed minimal too, even during longer listening sessions the enclosure has not felt hot to the touch, which matters sitting this close to a desk setup. The 12V trigger has synced up smoothly with my other gear, powering on and off in step with the rest of the chain rather than needing to manually flip anything separately. The compact size makes it easy to use and not super heavy either, so that's a plus. Gain adjustment has let me match output level appropriately for my source without clipping or needing to run the source volume uncomfortably low to compensate. For anyone building a compact, quiet desktop HiFi setup and needing a genuine single channel amp with real power behind it, this has delivered clean, reliable performance since installing it. ... show more
