I was very surprised that this was resin. It is hard and not leather. I guess I should have looked more carefully at the description. Not totally disappointed, but I was expecting leather (there are little pieces of leather “string” attached to the sides of the saddle to give it a more authentic feel) . This thing is awful. It’s like they took a stock photo from a really nice ornament and tried to recreate it but failed miserably. The only reasons I’m giving it two stars and not one is that a) it is actually a saddle ornament, and b) my daughter said she liked it. I think I could have whittled something better from a lump of clay and saved myself the money. See attached photos for what it ACTUALLY looks like. ... show more
