  • Is taking long to charge = good
Size: Galaxy Note 9 Battery
My old battery was shot. This fits good. Samsung note 9 SM-N960U. You have to cut tape to fit width and length don't remove protective cover until you ready to stick one side to battery. Look at old battery tape size. The tape of course is double sided. Spent a lot of time cleaning the old glue off as I bought a new back cover it came with alcohol pads and I used tweezers too. Used the stove burner to heat up back cover and continued reheating till I got it off. Was worried about the wires and they were easy to remove and plug in just take time lining them up. When putting on back cover the fingerprint sensor was not lined up so loosened cover and used the tweezers in closed position to move it slid it in place from side. So you can avoid that problem by positioning before apply pressure. My old battery charged fast and died fast. The old original Samsung battery was 4000 mah and 4.4 volts. ... show more

  • Use a playing card to cut glue!
Size: Galaxy Note 5 Battery
The battery works great, and was still 65% full when installed. The tools were a great addition, especially the thin metal pry bar. Helpful info to getting the glass off: Once you can get the metal pry bar under the back glass, use a playing card to get under and 'cut' the glue. It's less ridged than the metal pry bar and flexible enough to go under the curved glass yet tough enough to break the glue. A heatgun is your best friend in getting the back glass off, don't even try without one. The suction cup was difficult to work with and I would recommend using a bigger one and/or replacing the metal ring to something sturdier. ... show more

  • Phone saver!
Father's S6 battery would not hold a charge. Had a terrible week long ordeal with Verizon trying to get a replacement phone. So decided to try replacing the battery on his once reliable phone. Was a little unsure of all the choices, mixed reviews, and whether I would be able to open the phone to do the replacement. It's been a month since I did the replacement and father is happy, no issues with his phone. With the middle battery performance level on the S6 he can go a couple days between charges. Now lets discuss the actual replacement procedure. In addition to the tools included with the battery, I had 2 other mini screwdriver sets with an assortment of driver heads, plastic pry tools, and wedges. Also had a couple old metrocards and hair dryer. I watched alot of videos on youtube on how to open the phone. Particularly the one by Serg Tech. Basically straight forward procedure. Heat the back of the phone with a heat source, hair dryer. Use the suction cup to pull up on the back of the phone. Slip a very thin prying tool into the edge to the bottom edge to start to release the adhesive holding the phone together. So I spent maybe an hour with various attempts of the steps - heat, suction, pry - repeat. Didn't get very far. Was wondering if I wasn't heating it enough? The suction kept popping off. It was tricky trying to hold the phone while at the same time as trying to pull it apart with the suction cup. And asking myself which tool was the best to try and wedge into seam of the phone. I watched a few more videos and decided I didn't have the right tools. The suction that comes with the battery would pop off too easy and the pry tool that comes with it is way too thick for the initial prying. So I reviewed the Amazon offerings for the most recognizable phone repair tools, iFixit. Found what I wanted the heavy duty suction cups. But I was on a mission so I needed it now. So i drove down to the nearest Microcenter looking for the suction cups. I couldn't find them, but I did pick up the iFixit Essential Electronics Kit. It has a suction cup and various pry tools. Got home and 10 minutes later the phone was open. The Suction Handle and the Jimmy was what I needed. Heated the phone with a blow dryer for about 2-3 minutes. Used the suction to pull up on edge. Slipped the Jimmy into the seam to get it started. Then used a metrocard to slip all around the edge of the phone to cut the adhesive. I was surprised how easy it was to open once I had the right tools. So the battery saved the phone, but the included tools not useful for this particular operation. As far as the thickness. A little thicker than the original. But didn't prevent me from putting the back back on. Maybe the back isn't as flush because of it, but once you put your case back on the phone you would never notice anyway. ... show more

  • Faulty Battery
Size: Galaxy S9 Battery
I bought it to replace with my old battery, since it started to last only a few hours each time but this one holds out even less than that, after an hour, the fully charged battery is out. Sadly I didn’t replace it before my return window closed, so I’m stuck with it,

  • I read most of the reviews, here was my experience.
Size: Galaxy S9 Battery
I've had my Samsung Galaxy S9 for about 6 years. It is by far the best smart phone I've ever had. If I was to complain at all about the S9, it is the battery life. These phones ship new with a Li-Ion 3000 mAh, non-removable (11.55 Wh) battery. Since this phone was new I've had to charge it once a day at the end of the day every day. Lately, I've noticed my OEM battery getting long in the tooth so to speak. I've had to start charging it 2-3 times a day and occassionally when it was down to 15% it would just die, so I decided to replace the internal battery rather than replacing the phone as it does everything I want it to do perfectly. I ordered the SNSOU 4500mAh EB-BG960ABE Li-Polymer battery as a replacement and it was not only a perfect fit, but I would say has increased the battery life of this phone by at least 60% over new. I'm now charging my phone at nearly the end of the 2nd day. Keep in mind that although the process of replacing the battery in the S9 is fairly simple and straight forward, getting the back of the phone unglued without damage is NOT. I had begun thinking that the back of my S9 was welded on. I used a hot air desoldering station to heat the back of my phone and wow... I had to do that repeatedly. I finally got it to pull lose by applying heat while pulling on the suction cup included with this replacement kit. Everything is included by the way, quite a bargain for the price. Not sure on product longevity as of yet, but in case of catostrophic failure, I'll update. ... show more
