    • Lightweight excellent to store in your bag while hiking

I bought this cap to use when I am hiking. It is very lightweight and breezy. I used it when I was hiking during the hot sun and it seemed to cool my head really well. It may have to do with the fact that I bought a white colored cap so it reflects sunlight. It looks sturdy and well-made. Like the Velcro at the back so I can adjust it. also a lot so I’m worried about stains leaving on the cap but so far I don’t see any stains but it could just be because the cap is white. I got the small size in this hat and had very good ear clearance and was able to fill the crown. As someone with a small head, it's really tough to find a hat that fits. Love this came in sizes. The hat is lightwight, great for a hike, and the ventilated sides keep some airflow. Everything reviewers already said. The one star off is for style. I bought this to replace an Adidas exercise hat that I had for over a decade that eventually fell apart. This hat is a little different in that it's much sturdier, but still comfortable. Decent hat. Both well made and comfortable. However, this hat holds in water horribly. The first time I wore it was on an extensive trail run and it felt like I kept a thick wet rag sitting on my head. I had to keep taking it off and shaking the heavy beaded up water out of it. I generally don’t like hats. They are hot, uncomfortable, and usually don’t fit right. I love this hat- light weight, easy adjustable Velcro tab. I forget I’m wearing it! It fits easily in my bag . Also quick drying , easy to rinse out for those heavy sweat workouts.

I have a 22-3/8" head circumference, so I bought the larger size as recommended. I figured I could just adjust the strap accordingly. However, the hat was big, and I had a lot of strap hanging over after the adjustment. I had to cut the end of the strap to make it look right. The problem is, it adjusts with Velcro, and there is not much velcro on the strap to work with. I do like the hat and may order another one, the smaller size. ... show more
