  • Best capo I have ever found
Style: Standard Color: Black
Different capos work well with some guitars and some not. What I might use on a certain acoustic may not work well with some of my electrics. That being said, I play out professionally and my guitar of choice on stage is a Gretsch Duo-Jet. I went through a few different capos over the years, dissatisfied with all of them for the two big reasons, tuning distortion when I put the capo on so I had to re-tune every time I put the capo on or moved it. Reason two was that when I bent strings, quite often the string would not return to the original position. The G7 absolutely solved those problems. You have total control over the pressure you want to apply when putting it on. That makes a huge difference right there. You need different pressures depending on far far up the neck you are placing it. I have found with practice that I can put it on and stay pretty much in tune. Maybe adjust the low E a tiny bit, but not much. And when I bend, the strings stay in place. This is not a cheap capo, but well worth it IMO. ... show more

  • SUPER SMALL
Style: Standard Color: Silver
OK - This thing is about as small as you can imagine. Literally fits into the palm of your hand. Also, this Capo provides great sound from a guitar's strings - as long as it's a six string. I have a seven string and can use this capo, but only up to about the 5th fret before the high E string is either only partially touched - causing a muted buzz. If you have a six string - GREAT capo. If you have a 7 string - still a great capo, but only up to about the 5th fret. I'm imagining if you have an 8 string you will want to find another capo. ... show more

  • Worth the money.
Style: Standard Color: Silver
Lost my old adjustable spring capo, and had a gift card from work for Veteran's Day so I splurged on this one to replace it. I have to say that it's all its hyped up to be. It is easy to seat with just enough even tension to be buzz free without bending one or more strings out of tune. It's also small and doesn't have parts sticking out so it's unobtrusive. The build quality if excellent. Not as cheap as some capos, but in this case one really does get what they pay for. ... show more

  • Buzz, Buzz, and more Buzz…
Style: Standard Color: Silver
I foolishly bought this $80 capo, thinking that if it costs that much, it must be good. Wrong! It’s worthless. I liked the look and feel, and ease of use, but unfortunately the design is very flawed. I own an original vintage 1968 blonde/ maple Fender Telecaster. I slipped the capo on and was immediately disappointed. The first 5 strings sound great, but the capo applies VERY LITTLE pressure on the high E string. As a result, when playing a chord with an open E, it mutes the string. If I press down on E, it buzzes. So yeah, it’s worthless. Do yourself a favor and stick to the tried and true $30 capos that actually apply enough equal pressure across ALL 6 strings… ... show more
