Recently I fell in love with this colorful leaf print , I already bought bunch of different styles with same prints. This bag is well made with good thickness polyester material, pretty bright color! I have been using this backpack for FOUR YEARS to travel with and I am only now just needing to buy a new one after wear and tear! I would say that’s definitely bang for your buck! I used this backpack and a Scott E Vest for ultralight travel (three weeks in Europe, five countries and five Ryan Air flights). Filled 3/4 full it fits completely under the seat in front of you and qualifies as the allowed personal small bag on Ryan Air flights. It worked so well I got a second one for my wife. I have used this backpack for plenty of weekend trips, overseas flights, and car camping trips and it has definitely served its purpose well in those settings hence the 3 stars. However, if you’re looking for a backpack to do some actual multi-day camping/backpacking, this is not the one as I learned recently! To start, there is no waist strap which keeps all of the weight of the pack on your shoulders. There is also no padding on the shoulder straps which adds to the discomfort. There are also not enough functional pockets, adjustable straps, or rain fly cover. This is all obvious upon closer inspection of product photos and specs, but unfortunately I was blinded by the great reviews. Moral of the story, look closely before buying and probably buy a backpacking pack in person where you can actually try before you buy. ... show more

I bought this for a quick solo trip to Kyoto and didn’t want to roll a luggage around on the trains or when I went to Higashiyama. It is light and held more than I needed. But I didn’t find it very comfortable. The chest trap sat in a weird spot but I’m only 5’2 so there’s that. I’ve traveled with it 3 times so far and it’s still in great shape.     • Fantastic packable backpack!!
Stored my wheeled luggage and packed for a three day excursion to Norway. Wow, is this thing light and roomy. Pockets are great and felt very durable. And wow is it roomy. Ended up having to bring my laptop so that fit plus power cord and mouse. Two pairs of pants, a couple t-shirts, packable down vest, toiletries, umbrella, a couple books, socks, silk gloves, extra cotton blouse. Top pocket storage was great for putting a sandwich or pastry. Front pocket held my charger and sunglasses. I can not recommend this enough. I packed it in my carry on and planned only to use it for souvenirs to take home. But it worked out so well for my side trip. Much easier hauling on and off trains and ferries in Norway. And I think I could take it on a month's trip with no problem. Love this. If you need a packable pack that carry a lot this is great. ... show more

I have several backpacks and bags. I wanted something smaller than my 60L backpack for a two trip to San Francisco this past weekend for a half marathon. I was able to fit at least 4-5 shirts, pants, 4 pairs of shorts, 3-4 pairs of underwear, my toiletries, a few hats and a pair of running shoes. The bag is perfect size for a carry on so it worked out well for me. I did not even use all of its pouches to stash other things but this is great for anyone looking to carry two days worth of items for a camping trip or other 2 day trip.
