I was happy that I wore them to a dance and they didn’t run! I also love the fact that it came all the way to my waist and they stayed there! My only disappointment, and I would’ve given a five star - is that they were darker than they looked in the picture. They looked almost opaque in the picture but they are truly black. If That’s what you want -they are perfect.

If you want a pair of leggings with true control top - as in pull in & smooth your belly and upper thighs, these are NOT it. The header indicates control top, but description says “ultra light contro”. Personally I would say it has neither — these are just tights. The leggings do stay up, they have plenty of stretch. Color was fine.

I don’t generally wear nylons, but I was a bridesmaid at 40 with a knee-length dress. We make compromises. It was a cold day in Utah, so at least I had something to cover my legs! These are sleek, kinda smooth and shiny, and did the trick just fine. I wore the black ones for the rehearsal and the nude for the wedding. I did wear latex gloves to put them on and take them off, because my hands get dry. Also, I used Vapo-Rub on the bottoms of my feet so they wouldn’t shred the delicate fabric. All in all - get the right size, handle with care, and they should work for you! (Do hand wash gently before wearing, I had a lot of dye come out.)
