Made several mods to the truck wheel well due to rust, and used stainless self-tapping screws to attach directly to fenders/sheet metal. Took about 2 hrs. To install by myself, after everything was in there were only 3 screw ins that had to be used with a wrench and socket wrench at the same time. Do not use the screws that come with the packet or they will break inside. Had to buy my own stainless steel screws to put in. No double sided sticky plastic wiring to keep water out. Be aware that This product does not come with sticky plastic wiring. In the end looks nice when it’s all together. ... show more

Installation kit isn't to good. The fender is to loose and to small to get all screws in to the fender. I had to make holes with self taping screws to make it stay in place and for it not to move. Imagine going throw a car wash and your fenders all falling off because they got ripped off from the wash. That's what I almost had done to me so i had to use self tapping screws to fix that problem. I order the correct ones for my truck 2009 chevy silverado crew cab but did not fit. the front ones did but the rear ones did not. very upset. I copy paste the following from the description (G-PLUS Fender Flares, Compatible with 07-13 Chevy Silverado 1500, [Only Fit 5.8' Short Bed Crew Cab(Excludes 07 Classic Models)], Textured Black Wheel Cover 4pcs) and now that i got them and notice that they don"t fit i read all the reviews and found this (If you have an extended cab or standard long bed without extended cab, these will fit. If you have the full size 4 door Crew cab with a short bed, these will not fit.) totally different from the description. front Fender Flares are ok but the rear are not. holes don"t line up, i had to drill new holes but they still did not fit. the hole thing is off by a couple of inches and will not even let my gas cap open and to big of gap all around the top. Waste of Money ... show more

Got these for hubby for Christmas, and of course he had to put them on right away, he has a ton of rust (older Chevy, of course) and wanted it covered up, couldn’t connect the top two screws due to rust but they seem to be super sturdy even without them and no gap on top either :) definitely would recommend! Only took about and hour start to finish ... show more

Worst product ive bought in amazon. If i could give it zero stars i would. Buying these fenders for my 2001 chevy suburban, i knew coming in I would have to make a few adjustments to fit my suburban but what i received was a no quality control product. All holes dont line up with the holes on the suburban, 2 fenders were warped, the weather seal rubber line didnt have 3mm double sided tape. i bought my own rubber line that had double sided tape. But the fenders had a gap between them and the body so i bought double sided tape to stick on rubber seal line to the body but the fenders were soo warped they didnt hug or stay on the body at all. The self tapping screws they gave you also were so cheap they broke every time or were too small so they fit so loose, they didnt stay in the holes. At the end of the day i gave up on this horrible product. You spend more money and time trying to fix the companys downfalls and quality errors of there product hoping to get it installed on your vehicle. Update: Had to buy another rubber seal for the fenders that had double sided tape and installed them to the fenders. Then added double sided tape on the rubber seal to stick onto the body of the truck. Also bought small screws and screwed them into the body of the truck. Not noticeable cuz they screwed in the wheel well. After fixing the down falls of these fenders, they turned out great, look great, had them for a month now and have been tested my downpours and 110 heat. Recommend to the handyman ... show more

Didn't look like they would fit on the rear. After installing the fit perfectly. Nice finish and quality compared to price. Small blemish from shipping but other wise would highly recommend over other more expensive brands.

Loved them, they work really well! I had like NOTHING left of my fenders so I cut off all the rust and I used a mix of long self tappers and 2" long bolts with nuts on the back to secure these on. For the bolts I predrilled also. They are thicker plastic which is nice that they aren't super flimsy. The screws they gave you are tiny little 1/4" bolts. Those won't hold against a powder puff. Buy theses and go to your hardware store and get some good lock nuts and bolts and you'll be alright. Also to note, I didn't put on the front set the existing ones were still on so I left them. ... show more
