I read a lot of reviews on belts and manufacturers claims before purchasing this belt. It is designed for high heat which we get when running in sand dunes. So far so good.

Got this for a spare when needed machine ran terrible with it thought needed broke in. Even ordered another for spare. When put to the test machine still jerked and died all the time, when contacted Gates they said you have to adjust your clutch when using the belt no place on package do they tell you this! Who carries enough tools on trail to do this? Now window for return on spare belt is closed and Gates won’t take the spare back. Beware!!! ... show more

I bought this based on that Gates makes the belts for Polaris. Well they are NOT the same width. Buy the factory belt, trust me. After several issues I finally compared the two and it’s night and day difference in width and performance. I’m very disappointed.

i bought this belt thinking it would be a good belt it did not last 150 miles it was all struched out and made my rzr chater like crazy i put on a new belt and all the noise went away and so did the chater this belt is just no good i dont ride hard at all and my other belt went 1200 miles
