I’m giving it five stars, but realized that I have no way to calibrate it or confirm the readings are accurate. I can only say they seemed to be based on fasting test versus after meal test. The zipper case is great, but a pocket on the outside of the case would’ve been nice. I would inevitably forget to put something back in the case many times and it would’ve been handy to have a pocket on the outside and not have to re-unzip it. Price was exceptionally reasonable. I’ve heard purchases of just the strips may be pricey, but I don’t have plans to buy any so I haven’t priced them. If you plan on using this device for more than just through the strips provided in the kit, you should probably price the strips alone for future purchases first. (I did a video showing an actual use of the test kit but it wouldn’t upload. I did a second video and it still wouldn’t upload to Amazon.)

I bought this glucose monitor for my mom, and we’ve had a very good experience with it. It’s easy to use and so far it has been very reliable for her daily checks. In fact, I was so satisfied with the first one that I’ve already purchased two. It gives me peace of mind having one available for her, and I would definitely buy it again.
