I ordered longer velvet curtains from another shop on Amazon for my bedroom which are really lovely. A little thicker for pretty much the same price.. but when I needed 2 shorter velvet curtains for my shorter windows they only had 1 left in the color I needed and I needed two sets so I ordered these instead. The thickness is just a tad bit thinner than the other shop’s and the wrinkles are almost non existent, but these ones have jagged zig zag wrinkles all over them that won’t fall out and there’s even grommet indentations on the fabric which I hope will fall out eventually or else I’ll have to take them down and iron out the wrinkles which I feel I shouldn’t have to do cause I didn’t have to for the thicker ones I bought a week before. Just more work that I don’t wanna do basically ... show more

I love these. Fabric is thick and so, so soft. They hang well, little hard to get the wrinkles out but worth the effort. I bought the green and it's a perfect update on MCM avocado. Very happy with them.

These are seriously fantastic for the price. I must have ordered five different sets of curtains when we first bought our house, and these are by far the nicest, and they happen to be one of the lower-priced options. They are a deep emerald green, and they are decently thick if that’s what you’re going for. When they are pulled shut, they do a fantastic job of blocking out the light. I wouldn’t say everything is completely blacked out, but very close. We are extremely happy with these and will be ordering additional ones for other rooms in our house ... show more

I got the red to replace a pair of red velvet blackout curtains from Target. These are so much better. The Target ones were a disaster to wash, came out ruined, so I took a chance on these. The color is great, it's a deeper red but not burgundy, no brown tones to it. Like a darker cherry color. They were slightly wrinkled out of the package but after hanging for a couple days look fine. These block the light extremely well, especially considering how much thinner these are than the Target ones which had a painted on white backing and were stiff. These have a great flow to them, are very soft and are all red, no white paint to be found. I live on a busy street and this blocks the light at night very well. Even during the day my room is very dark with these curtains. Great purchase and the reviews were all true. ... show more
