This exceeded expectations. It's a textured, baby soft fleece material that my beagle dogs can't get enough of. The softness holds up in the washer too. Great blanket, baby girl still isn’t here but I know it’ll be a great blanket to cover her when it’s too hot for the average baby blanket or for short travels since it’s so thin. My cat LOVES this specific type of fabric. I have a large blanket of the same material, and she constantly kneads it, which would be cute if she didn't also chew it and slobber all over it. So I bought her this, hoping it would be a good substitute. I folded it and put it in her bed, and she instantly started chewing/kneading it and it made me so happy. It's a great baby blanket. It's super soft, very light, and folds slim so it doesn't take up much space when we want to bring it with. It came vacuum sealed, which I thought was weird at first - but then I kind of realize, I like the idea that critters wouldn't be hitching a ride in transit. Great! Super soft, fuzzy and warm. Not for keeping out the cold by wrapping your baby in it going from the car into the store during the middle of winter, but it's super cozy. I've used it from literally day one with my baby, it's so soft, and easy to clean in the wash, doesn't stain easily, stays soft and fuzzy after washing. These blankets are PERFECT for my small dog. They are VERY soft and wash well. They are the perfect size for snuggling him up, placing in his crate, or to protect the seat cushion on our chairs/couches. I've bought several of them. And also put one in our kitty's outdoor house, for extra warmth/comfort. I think they'd be amazing for keeping baby warm in a stroller/car etc... ... show more
