I originally bought two of these a few years ago because I needed something soft for an elderly cat with bowel problems to lie on when he was on the bed. Yeah, I know—too much information, but I did say "many uses". Anyway, I also had a rescue kitten who adores the blankets, they being the only thing that triggers his kneading instinct. Which he does regularly. So, when one of the originals went walkable during a change of residence, it was a given I needed to replace it ASAP so I could switch out for laundry purposes. There was never any question of changing the brand. All that said, I also need a lap robe to keep my knees from getting stiff, and these blankets are a perfect size. Even when folded, they're light and warm and all the things you need to keep aged knees in top form. So, while I can't speak to their use for babies, I can definitely recommend them. It's so soft too - think minky fabric. I love the olive green color. I bought this to be used as a baby blanket for a 22 inch doll and it's the perfect size for the little bed or to throw over a car seat or to wrap the doll up in. It's a great size. I'm glad I bought it. Great accessory.

It is really soft, but I washed it twice and the thread, unravelled now the edging is all gone. I have no idea about sewing, but ifs there is such a thing as double stitching then that's what the blanket needs. I love the color and softness.

Ok so it arrived and at first I was unsure. It was extremely thin in an air tight plastic and the coloring seemed off. But as soon as I opened it, the coloring was nice and it fluffed out a little. I really like the soft material and the lightweight feel. Could be gifted but the packaging looks weird. Lol ... show more
