Update: After wearing these slippers daily for almost 5 months, they are still very, very comfortable and warm. However, the velcro no longer stays attached on either slipper. Every time I take a step, the velcro comes apart. I am constantly sticking it back together on the right slipper, and have resorted to using a giant paperclip to hold the velcro closed on the left slipper. Since that is my only complaint, I am considering buying some super strong velco and replacing it myself. Just not looking forward to doing that. These slippers are well made and very comfortable. I normally wear a size 6.5, but after reading the reviews decided to order down instead of up. I'm glad I did because the size 6 fits just right. The gentle arch support fits my foot perfectly, and the toe box is roomy and comfortable. The velcro is adjustable enough for a comfortable fit. The sole is flexible with a comfortable layer of memory foam that keeps my feet dry and safe whenever I wear the slippers outdoors. ... show more

These slippers are very nice but were too narrow for just coming out of surgery. I am sure that they would be comfortable, especially with the Velcro closure and the slip resistant sole.

    • Pros & Cons - I will be returning

I decided to return these for a couple reasons. Overall, they were just too big. Longer than an average size 6, which is what I usually wear. It felt like there was less cushion on my heels, which made it feel like the back of my foot dropped lower than the rest. This was immediately putting a strain of the back of my legs. I’m not sure if this was because they were just too big on me, but I thought it was worth noting. The inside is very soft and pillowy, they felt super cozy and soft. I did appreciate the strap that helped tighten it so it does not slip around on your heel. Even being big on my foot it still held it in place nicely. As far as how they look, I kind of felt like I was wearing Mickey Mouse shoes or clown shoes. The toe just looked really wide and kind of silly when I looked down at them. I am an elderly woman, and these are the best slippers for my old, tired feet, with their comfort insides and great material that will last a long time. I find them easy to slip on and with the adjustable strap when my feet swell this works wonders.
