TWO WEEKS LATER: ZERO RESPONSE - DECREASED QUALITY/INCREASED PRICE I have previously purchased about five? six? seven of these exact blankets of the same size and they have been perfect. We have given them as baby shower gifts and the last ones were for our 14 yr old arthritic dog to soften the bottom of her carrier. We just got a new grey carrier and decided to purchase two blankets to match. While they are soft, the two dark grey blankets that I just received are sooooo thin that you can literally see light through them. Even my husband noticed the difference right away when he was changing my earlier version (coffee) to the new grey one which is about 1/2 the thickness. The new grey blankets offer very little cushioning so we took it out and put the older one back in, which is still plush and fluffy after close to two years and very frequent washes. As thin as these grey ones are, I can't imagine them surviving numerous washes. I am very sad at the decreased quality of your product received. Is this what we can expect, or we wonder if this was an error in production for that run? Please advise as soon as possible as Amazon is asking for me to offer a review of your product and these are TERRIBLE compared to the quality of all of our many previous purchases of this EXACT blanket. This blanket is very soft and cozy, exactly what I look for in a baby blanket. The coral fleece material feels gentle against delicate baby skin and provides just the right amount of warmth without being too heavy. The 28x40 size is perfect for multiple uses – I use it in the crib, stroller, and even in the car seat during cooler days. These are strangely light weight, but they are cuddly, I use them for dog blankets on my couch. Only 4 stars because threads started coming undone out of the bag. The threads where the edging is sewn on. So I either let them keep unraveling, or I sew them up myself.

I bought two of these several months ago and one was perfect while the other was badly defective. I really like the fabric, very soft and cozy. I bought them to use as a little throw to go over my feet when I have them up on the coffee table where they often get chilled. These are perfect for that … inexpensive, easy to wash and all that. The problem with the defective one was the edge binding, which is sewn with large stitching and in this case the binding itself had not been properly aligned so it had two long sections where it was not secured properly. It really wasn’t worth returning and I’m only throwing it over my feet so I just kept it, even though it bugged me. This would have been a hazard if you wanted to use it for a baby or a pet but the only problem for me is aesthetics. So, recently I saw the blanket again and saw very clearly in the listing photos that they no longer used the binding, but were now turning the fabric over on itself and making a neat hem. I was so happy to see the improvement I decided to get a new one and retire the defective one to my fabric pile for upcycling. The new one arrived today and I was so disappointed to find that the photos do not represent the product shipped. What I received has the same poorly done binding as the original. I am really disappointed that the listing does not match the product, doubly so because I was buying this one to put the original experience behind me. Bottom line, the fabric is wonderful but the fabrication is not of high quality and the listing is misleading. If it was well done and matched the listing, this would be 5 stars but given my experience I can’t go higher than 3 stars. ... show more
