There is a _lot_ to like about these lights. They are solidly built, compact, and throw a huge amount of light down the road. When fully lit, I can't tell when I turn on my stock (FJR1300, so actually quite good) high beams. All mounting hardware is robust. The handlebar switch has many good mounting options provided (the switch can be mounted above the bar with a little squidging - below the bar tends to run into my tankbag) and is a quality switch. The yellow has a tight enough cut-off that I don't get flashed by oncoming drivers, while still providing an impressive amount of visibility. The high beam also has a fairly sharp cut-off so most of the light is going down-road. The "fill" light illuminates road signs more than the ditch - it is somewhat "up" compared to the yellow beam. I don't know what to do with the flashing options, they seem great for giving someone in the left lane a heart attack or getting yourself pulled over, but unlike many similar lights they also are not likely to get accidentally triggered. My only criticism is that I sort of wish the fill light would also trigger on the high beam signal, but it's entirely possible that if it did I would want it the other way. ... show more

Lights are well made, and the wiring is straight forward and easy to follow. Installed in a short amount of time. Removing a panel or two takes the most time. Hooking up the wires is literally minutes. The lights are bright and have a very strong but defined beam. I mainly use them as daytime running lights for the extra protection. The switch is also very good quality with a well-defined click and several mounting options. I would definitely purchase them again. ... show more

These lights are feature-packed and excellent. there are three sets of LEDs inside: a yellow low beam, 6.5k high beam, and a 6.5k wide beam. each set pulls about 30 watts, so the light set pulls 60w with just the lows or the wide beam, 120w with low/hi or low/wide, and 180w using all three, although I believe the wide beam might pull a bit less than the other two. on my bike this means I can't use my high-beam headlight if I'm running all three sets. there aren't many situations where you'd want to run all three, however. the low and high beam patterns are narrower than a standard headlight but otherwise very close. the wide beam is a similar width but doesn't have as much vertical spread, although it shares its cutoff with the low beam. the amber low beam does a good job of creating contrast. it's the standard amber so it's not a high-performance as some of the high-end lights but in this price range I find the performance excellent. the beam pattern makes it more useful for higher speeds as opposed to a floodlight. the high beam isn't very useful unless you want to look at trees as the narrow beam spreads just as much vertically as horizontally. both high and low cast reasonably even semicircles without bright spots and the light is useable even close to the edge. the control button is extremely intuitive and uses separate controls for steady and flashing settings which I really appreciate. the box includes nearly every piece of hardware you could need. the wires are thick and double sleeved for excellent durability and protection and have multiple waterproof locking disconnects that feel very secure and are keyed to prevent misaligning. the control button comes with half a dozen different mounts and the included mounts for the lights themselves are chunky and strong, with adapters for all but the thinnest bars. I had to use a few of my own washers to bolt it to the mounting plate I used on my bike. installation was a bit challenging as there were no included directions and most of the ones I could find online had fewer wires than mine. the black wire coming from the box is the "sync" wire shown in the directions that has an unknown purpose. the blue wire from the loom is the one that can be wired either to your ignition or direct to power. Overall, quality is excellent and value for money is even better. there aren't many other lights that can compete at this price point and I don't think any are of the same quality. You need to be somewhat familiar with electrical systems and fuses as they come with an ACC wire that is supposed to hook into your ACC fuse. They provide the wire but you need to get a fuse that works with the provided wire and you need to know where the fuse is and which one it is to provide power for the lights to work. Both lights are labeled “left” and “right” and do provide a huge amount of light. The brackets to hold the lights fit on a 2025 Honda Rebel 1100 using the provided rubber filler. They also provide a few black zip ties (you’re going to need more). The wires connecting to the lights are large and each water tight connection screws into each other.
