It was an easy setup however using a key Allen wrench was hard on my hands and fingers. The instruction book was easy to follow, each part and piece was specified for those beginners like myself. It took me 40 minutes to setup due to using the wrench. It looks great and it’s not Too flimsy when you add items to keep it in place. I expected it to be a little wider but it will do the job for now. So ladies you might want to get your partner or a man to screw in the pieces because after a while I had no grip left in my fingers! Update, The seller provided excellent experience after my review reached out to me to make sure I was happy. Nice to know businesses care still, I would definitely consider buying from the seller again in the future maybe different items. Arrives in a pretty small package meaning lots of pieces, all individual and there's a lot of assembly to be done. Took about an hour and a half and that's with a power tool, probably longer if you use the measly hand wrench they give you. Particle fake wood edges feel like they could chip easy. The basket front is faux silky fabric, too bad they didn't have a wood veneer that would truly match the shelving. Feels cheap. I bought the rustic wood, five tier shelf. I also provided measurements of the actual shelf itself. I am only keeping this because it's hard to find a shelf under 11in deep, for my purpose to fit behind a swing door. I feel like the price point on this is way too expensive at $50, considering all the assembly and low quality of material. ... show more

The supports of this bookshelf are metal, which is much sturdier than pressboard. My 12 year old daughter and I got this put together in about an hour! When I opened the box I was pretty apprehensive when I saw the amount of hardware but it was NOT bad. I was very happy with my purchase. The shelf is sturdy and well designed to not feel rickety. The package was very heavy. I found leftover parts for everything. It took me about a little over a hour to assemble. Instructions were clear and easy to follow.. One thing confused me all the screws were star heads. It's the perfect shelf to display my plants. I actually placed grow lamps onto the bottom of each shelf. It was easy to assemble and is quite sturdy. Very easy to assemble. I took away one star as the drawer fits too snuggly making it almost impossible to open and close.
