This stand is better than I expected. I am of the belief that you get what you pay for. I wanted a relatively inexpensive TV stand for my spare bedroom. I read the reviews on this and got very mixed opinions of it. I understood that the "wood" was engineered particle board with a plastic laminate that looked like wood and the drawers were made of fabric. The good part of the review: It is mostly a solid steel frame and quite sturdy and stable. It doesn't have a flimsy feel to it. The top is pretty solid and the wood laminate looks good. Same with the drawer panels. The back fabric of the drawers is very sturdy and the general feeling is more like storage boxes than drawers. I wouldn't put anything heavy in them but clothes seem to work OK. Surprising amount of storage space. The power strip sits flush with the top and has a circuit breaker. Putting it together wasn't difficult. The frame is held with 24 screws and you just have to pay close attention to the diagrams and make sure the frame parts are properly oriented. I did it by myself in 2 hours. Only difficult part was matching up the screw holes on the bottom of the top panel. The negative: I recommend you use your own Allen wrench set and small Phillips screwdriver. The little combo tool they give you is hard to work with and it's made of very soft Chinesium steel. The Allen wrench rounded out to useless by the 10th screw. I didn't over torque them either. I wound up using my electric screwdriver and attachments which made it a lot easier. One hole in a cross bar wasn't fully cut out. I had to punch it out with a screwdriver. While I indicated that this was better than I expected, it still isn't a legacy quality piece of furniture either but good for the price point and a good support stand for a small flat panel set.

I bought this as a dresser for my toddler's room. I must say that putting this together was very easy. The instructions are pretty easy to follow and everything was labeled well. Once everything was built I was pleasantly surprised with the storage capacity. With that said, I wouldn't recommend this for an adult with large amounts of clothes. But for our needs, it is perfect for our 3 year old's new room. I love the built in power strip as well, it's out of reach and keeps the cords to a minimum! Overall, I think this dresser is fair in quality and gets the job done. It's a good inexpensive option.

I bought this, like many other types of furniture from Amazon. I am completely disappointed in this product. Not only it’s out the size of children’s furniture, it is not stable and the drawers are cloth not wood as I was read to believe in my reading. It does go together easy, but for the size and overall quality I think it is over priced.

Because the drawers are fabric there is a definite capacity in terms of weight of how much you can put in them before they buckle, but that’s to be expected, don’t o refill the drawers. nice, easy to assemble. front of drawers are a strange fake leather and they all smell like bizarre vinegar when you open them...seemed to dissipate fast or maybe i just got used to the smell while building. JULY 2024 UPDATE ON THE SMELL: i can't get rid of it. I have taken the drawers out to my porch and sprayed them liberally with Tide antibacterial spray as much as I dare because i don't want the cardboard to warp. I've sprayed them with perfume, I put them on the porch again JUST to air them out. They smell like Skoal. Literally. and my clothes smell like Skoal too. (my ex-husband was a skoal user so i'm very familiar with that weird chemically vaguely tobacco smell) I think it's whatever the fake leathery drawer fronts are made of. But it really stinks. literally and figuratively. I'm going to try to put them on the porch again and focus some kind of stench neutralizer on the "leather" parts. My bug spray smells better than these. THIS IN NO WAY SHAPE OR FORM WILL FIT ANYTHING REMOTELY CLOSE TO A 55IN TV. i have a 47in tv and it barely fits. BARELY. there is NO room at all for the tv and like an xbox or even a switch. i'm kind of p.o.'d but i also should have read the reviews closer....
