Yes, this shelving unit is small and that seems to be the biggest criticism. You really need to look at the listed dimensions and decide if they work for what you are wanting it for. Knocking off stars/points because you didn't realize it's size when the dimensions are listed just reflects on the carelessness or stupidity of the customer and shouldn't reflect on this product. The shelving unit is easy to put together an works well as a display unit or anything else that works well for a small shelving unit of it's LISTED DIMENSIONS.

Ha!!! My husband and I got a good laugh out of this one! Please make not of the measurements on this. I overlooked that part and it most definitely will not work for what I wanted it to. I'm rating it three stars bc it was easy to assemble and seems fairly sturdy. I do think they should have better pictures for size reference. Here's my picture in front of the wall where I wanted it to go, thinking it would fit nicely, and my 85lb lab mix for size reference! We shall put a plant or shoes on it!!

Awesome tables. I ordered 2 of them because I wanted to put them next to each other add some small plants. Easy to assemble just be carful not to use to much force. Since the material can be damage easily. I highly recommend these tables! price is unbeatable and easy to assemble.

It came with the paint a little bit pilled in two different pieces, some of the parts didn't fit well and when I was forcing them (because it was the only way) to fit, part of the pressed wood came off around it. The material quality is super cheap, I didn't return it because I just needed it to fill up a corner on my apartment and it was more the trouble of returning it than what I paid for it, you get what you pay for...

(I have to say: it is SOOOO annoying when I read reviews and ratings that are based completely on customers’s dissatisfaction with size/dimensions of a product- when it is the customers’ CHOICE not to scroll down to look at the dimensions before ordering the item. And then they give a bad rating cause the item is “small”?! And they take the time to write a bad review, the same amount of time it would have probably taken them to look up the LxWxH in the first place??!) As for this shelf: I bought this shelf with the idea of putting it near the entryway to store my 5-yr-old’s shoes and backpack, get him a bit more independent. First of all, my kid assembled it by himself. I supervised for a bit when he used a hammer, but ither than that I didn’t have to do a thing. Enough said. Second, the size/ height was perfect for him to get to his things easily, and it really didn’t take up too much space. It’s sturdy, but light, great size for kid shoes. Third, it looks so good, I can use it in so many different ways later on, it can go on top of a big desk, or be a cool side table or use to display decorative items. It’s so beautiful! Can’t believe how cheap it is- cause it sure doesn’t look like it.

As other reviewers point out, these are very small shelves. I read the reviews knowing this in advance, and still I marveled at the cute size when I assembled two of these in less than 10 minutes. In short: They are easy to assemble, relatively sturdy (albeit super lightweight), great price (less than $15 each) - and in my case, perfect for holding my planting supplies in a tight space.
