I was looking for shelves to put into a "planned" bathroom closet. The shower in the bath just off the kitchen stopped working and I decided to remodel it into a pantry/storage closet - paper products, bags etc. timing is months out, but i really wanted it organized now rather than dumping stuff into it. So I started looking at shelves for use now. I needed shelves with feet that would fit/stand on a shower stall flor, and the shower had molded, soap holder and a decorative "bump" in it. This shelf with 23x11 shelves, measured as "fitable" so i got it. I have also ordered a 4 shelf model so i can have deeper shelves. I assembled it last night while watching TV and moved it into the shower stall this morning. It fits beautifully and holds what i need it to hold! The second shelf will be perfect with it. I am pleased enough to think that the "remodle" job with be just taking out the the shower stall, and fix the wall - no paying to build in shelves, just continue using these. My only issue is the comment: "There are no screws involved,. . . Just turn the tube to connect the panels to form a storage shelf" Turn the tube!!! It was a major effort for my hands that do not the strongest grip. Every leg was an effort and my hands were hurting by the end of assembly. I am not looking forward to assembling the 4 shelf because I had to get it with round tubes - not realizing there would be an issue. ... show more

I'm not going to beat around the bush here, this is a cheap piece of furniture and at its price point you are going to get everything you pay for. The one point on price I would offer is that if you think you are somehow pressed to buy it now while it's on sale, I have visited this product's page on multiple occasions across three or so months and it is ALWAYS on sale, so don't feel rushed. Whether you feel that is predatory to consumers is up to you, I don't care as at the sale price it is a fair price. This is a cheaply constructed plastic and press board piece of furniture that is not going to win any beauty contests ever, but holds together very well and maintains stability with probably close to fifty pounds of tools and hardware on it in my room. It is compact, fits in most places, and is relatively easy if cumbersome to move. My only complaint is that assembly is somewhat exhausting because screwing in about two dozen plastic support poles to get this thing together is exhausting with the amount of friction is there and it requires a lot of force, and if you don't thread them all the way some can be crooked and look weird. Other than that it's a shelf and it's for people like me who aren't getting a shelf to make a statement. Do with that what you will. ... show more

Now I'm the type of person that doesn't like complicated instructions when putting something together. I've bought bookshelves from Walmart and Target in the past that have had absolutely terrible instructions... but this product was not like that!! This was SO easy to put together. The day I got this in the mail, my chronic pain was flaring, but even so, I was still able to put it together rapidly. The instructions were clear and it really does not require ANY tools of your own. It comes with an extra piece in case you want to nail it to your wall. I did not do this with mine and it has not tipped over. I've had it for 2 months now. My cat will rub up against it and it doesn't tip. I've even bumped into it and it doesn't tip. It's actually pretty sturdy, is what I'm trying to say. I have my heaviest items on the bottom, like books and board games, and on top I have my lighter items like my figurines and such. It looks really nice in my living room and I highly recommend it if you want an easy to put together shelf. ... show more

I am rating this 4 stars just because I see the product is really good, pretty too - even if with just plastic posts. Would have given it 5 stars, except that I was very disappointed when I opened it. If only the packing was done differently I would have a happy ending. If the foam was only protecting the most important part of this item, the shelves. Also, what I got looks like s previous returns due to the thickness of the packing tape. Too bad, I answered the survey right away... before I opened the box as 'Delivered with care.' NOT!!! TO THE MANUFACTURER/SHIPPER: please revisit how you package this item. It's probably better to cut the foam in half and protect both sides of your product. If you see the pictures attached - this is truly demolished! Here's to hoping not all your online order of this item ends up like mine. No fear, I am not returning it either. Returning it would be too much hassle for the price I got it. I considered this a bad investment & to never order any damageable items online again. It's a very expensive lesson emotionally & time (not for the price since it's only $24). ... show more

It took 9 days which was pretty long for me & it even stated that it was amazon prime. However, I am glad that I purchased this! Each rack is stacked with cans to stock up for the winter. We got 2 of the 3-shelf units when they were half price, and I am happy with the units, but very happy I did not pay more. The units are very well designed, and adequately, but cheaply, made. Several of my shelves had chips in the face, where drilling the holes had broken off parts of the facing. I needed to use touch-up pen to cover the broken areas. I was VERY pleased with the many color options available. We were able to get cherry to go with some more expensive furniture, and although the shelves are cheap, they are sturdy enough, and look fine. ... show more
