Impressed with how nice these turned out for the price. I bought the blue/white 5 shelf and the pink/white 7 shelf. Great for small places. The blue one I bought had a crack in one of the boards but it wasn't falling off and did not affect the shelf at all. I was worried about the screws because people were complaining a lot in the reviews about them sticking out. They were perfectly fine, nothing wrong with them and they fit. Not sure why so many people were complaining for nothing. My only warning is be careful with the finishing nails when hammering them into the back board. If they are not perfectly straight it will come out the side of your shelf or make a bubble. My pink/white shelf got some damage that way but it is still study and works. Blue shelf I made 2nd and made sure to place those extra careful. I'm still happy with both products. Really nice for kids rooms. ... show more

This was definitely a lot of work to put together and probably should have been a 2-person job, but I needed it done ASAP. Pay close attention to the face of the panels as you work, cause if you put one on backwards, you'll have to unscrew half the shelf and do it all again. Not that I'm speaking from experience or anything. Ultimately, it's perfectly functional and fits in the small space I needed it for. The shelves are a lot smaller (internally) than I realized they would be, and I could have done with a few more inches of depth, but it's fine for what it is. ... show more

I bought the 5-tier white bookcase. It's nice but not without some physical flaws. My item has a few small nicks in the wood, and one dent was painted over (likely by the manufacturer) with white paint (or maybe white marker). It was a pretty unsightly 2.5-3" mark, and located on the top-front of the item. I was debating returning the bookcase, because of this flaw, but my partner tried rubbing at the white paint and it just came right off... The original nick doesn't look half as noticeable as whatever the manufacturer tried to cover it with, so I'm just going to keep the bookcase. The 5-tier white bookcase also comes in two parts... Top portion and bottom portion. The top is made up of the top, back, sides, and two shelves. The bottom is made up of the back, sides, bottom, and two shelves. They are suppose to slide together, but mine does have a little gap and I wish the pieces were flush. I also want to note that the second to last step of the instructions might require a drill! They ask you to add 4 plastic support pieces to the back, with 8 small screws, and there were no holes created by the manufacturer for this step. Despite these things, I do really like the size and height of this bookcase, and I'm going to give it a chance. ... show more

I originally had one of these but my books were starting to grow and I figured while it was no longer sold out, I should probably grab another one! I liked how this was a small bookshelf, and the ability to let my shelf grow as I gather more books. I noticed though because of the price it sells out quick, so a bit of a downside, but I just hope they keep selling as I want a third eventually, but for now I'm good with two. Also I nailed the light brown side on the inside because the books will cover it and if I move my shelves I want it so the backside doesn't hinder the appearance if I choose to move them a certain way. ... show more

This is a small shelf but I like the size. I purposely wanted a small bookshelf for my toddler’s room. This one is large enough to hold their books but small enough that I don’t worry about the unit tipping on my kids climbing or hurting themselves on it. Docked it a star because the stickers that are supposed to cover/hide the screws are a joke. Small, thin and they don’t stick very well. The screws do not screw in flush with the shelving unit so the sticker sticks to the screw head but they’re not large enough to go over and around the sides to securely stick to the cabinet. They’re on now but I think it’ll be a matter of hours before my kids notice and peel them off or the fall off. ... show more

I put together four of these little shelving units for closet storage. The first one I put together had a learning curve because I didn’t know how to put in the plastic screws. It’s a flathead, but being plastic, was too soft for me to actually screw in. So, I tapped them in with a hammer. Also supplied are the wooden dowels. As I worked on the second one, I would put in two of the dowels, put the little piece together with E, then tap in two of the plastic screws. I didn’t use the cardboard backing. No extra parts so be careful with the dowels. ( I broke one off, but it stabilized once I tapped in plastic screw from other side). Also watch how you put it together because the back isn’t laminated and it’s particle board. These are fairly stable for what I needed them for. They are NOT high quality, but will work well for a closet. ... show more

I bought this to fit into my closet and provide some organization for all my shoes I had laying on the floor. I was able to build it within 30 min with a 13 month old climbing on me and on top of the shelves. I’m sure without my little one I could have done it in less time. It chipped as I was putting it together. I also had to redo one side because even though the instructions are pretty straight forward, they don’t tell you which side to screw together all the time, so I redid a side to have all parts matching (showing the white).
