Product was as described and very easy to assemble. So short story I needed pet steps that were narrow to go on my window sill to allow my cat to climb into her window beds. Everything I looked at was way to wide. So I tried looking for simple cube storage shelves that were study and I came across these. I bought 2 two cube shelves and they fit perfectly. All measurements were true to size making these the perfect fit..... please excuse my error of putting the backing on wrong in the picture. Since these are in a window i wanted the clean white facing out but then I realized after wards I need the white on the inside. I was handy enough to take the nails out and flip the backing the right way. If it bothers me I may paint the back white. These were perfect for what I needed. ... show more

The design is SO cute. You can put the white on the outside or the inside and on the top or the bottom of the shelves. It was easy to assemble. There are guide holes for the screws, but with it being particle board, the screws also go in anywhere, which is not great. You wind up with a not very square piece of furniture. It's sturdy enough, but I think it's a little overpriced for the quality you get. See photos. Oh, and stickers are included to cover the screws, but the screws don't sit flat in the wood and the stickers were all wrinkled, I'm certain they wouldn't stay put. Thankfully my little shelf went between two other things so you can't see the sides anyway. If you love the look, go for it, just know it won't be perfect. ... show more

This shelf is sturdy enough and works for what it is. The back board comes folded and has a noticeable line through it, which was a bit dissapointing. I really disliked assembling the back of the shelf (have to use a hammer and nails) but other than that was pretty easy to put together. You get what you pay for but there's probably better options on the market. ... show more

Great .. it’s smaller than I thought but it works perfect for our nursery space. I store my breast pump and accessories in it and place it right next to my rocking chair. It’s nice and study and can hold a lot of weight. I’ve only had it for about two weeks and It does already have a scratch so I was a bit disappointed in that. Quality was poorer than expected. TLDR; Spend the extra $10 on the “cheap” Target or Walmart cubes not this. I’ve gotten these cubes from every place imaginable and this brand was by far the worst one. Simply peeling off the stickers used to label the sides for assembly tore off part of the white finish. The nails used to affix the back to the cubes were too long, so unless the nail is in one very specific spot at an exact 90 degree angle, the pressure causes the side to crack and flake off. Other brands have pre-scored holes for the backing to ensure the correct nail placement and avoid this issue. The backing itself is held together by a piece of tape and it’s not 100% even on both sides, making it very difficult to affix to the cube without it sticking out on the top or the bottom (making it unsteady.) The screws also don’t sit flush on the cube so the stickers provided to cover the screw heads help, but don’t really visually obscure them. Lastly the cube was much, much smaller than anticipated. Most cubes hold the “large” 13” bins or the “smaller” 11” bins. This cube doesn’t fit the 11” inch bin as I believed it would. ... show more
