The table arrived in a carton that was inside a larger Amazon carton with some other items I ordered. "Double boxed," I would have expected the table's carton to be pristine. Instead, the table's carton had packing tape that was mostly cut open, and the exposed adhesive edges of the packing tape had accumulated a lot of dirt. Don't ask me why the packing tape was cut open. None of the parts were missing. The tape was dirty, and the box itself was dirty. Suddenly I had to be careful where in my home I unpacked the box and built the table because the little project was going to be dirty. And it was. The wooden shelves were slightly disappointing. I never got a retail wooden shelf kit that had saw-marks on the wood. The saw marks are unmistakable, oriented at right angles to the wood's grain, on all three shelves, on top and bottom of each shelf. The shelves could have been the best part, but they arrived messy. The legs are hollow plastic. The insides of the legs have a lot of plastic shards from their production. Apparently, someone back in the factory decided that the customers can clean out the plastic shards if we want, but they neglected to consider that plastic shards can fall out of the hollow legs when the customer assembles the table, which will make additional mess. I didn't see any need to clean the shards out of the tubes, but I had to clean the shards from the assembly area that fell out on their own. To rub salt into the wound, the shards are static-y like styrofoam, so they stick to your fingers while trying to place them in the garbage pail. I think I would suggest the manufacturer get a vacuum cleaner and get rid of the plastic shards before passing the product on to their customers. Also, let the customer make the table dirty if that's the way the customer is, but don't provide the product pre-dirtied. A tiny table for a tiny bathroom that's missing a medicine cabinet. It will work, after taking a wet washcloth to wipe down the shelves. The size is just right for my application, it will last for years, and the price was low, so add two stars for a total of 4-out-of-5 stars. ... show more

I ordered this small table to sit next to my bedside to hold a CPAP machine. There is not a lot of space where this table needs to sit, but it fits there perfectly and looks nice. Unlike what other reviewers have reported, the table I received was undamaged. I can see how damage could occur, though, because there is no protective wrap around the wood shelves, which appear to be particle board with veneer stuck to them. Any rough handling by shipping companies or the user is going to damage this table. The table assembles easily without any tools. The legs are simply hollow plastic sections that screw into each other through holes in the shelves. The included caps are plastic and screw into the top of the uppermost tubes. The tubes do feel flimsy, and I do not recommend tightening them beyond a slight snug to avoid damage. Once fully assembled, the table does wobble a little if even lightly bumped. It might wobble less with some weight put on the bottom shelf. For my purposes, this little table works out fine. It does not feel sturdy enough for anything really heavy, especially if put on the top shelf, but for anything weighing less than 15 lbs. it ought to be fine. This would make for a inexpensive knickknack stand. Pros: Really easy to assemble with good printed instructions No tools needed for assembly Attractive appearance Small footprint is ideal for small spaces Adequate height to be a good bedside table Inexpensive but looks nicer than it costs Cons: A little wobbly, especially with anything heavy on the top shelf Legs are cheap plastic and not very sturdy No pads on the bottom of the legs ... show more

Opened it and removed the nicely packaged columns....only to reveal the slats, precisely machined at 90 degrees and sharp as a blade at the edge!!!! em... I think I'll wait for the cut resistant gloves....not gonna cut myself putting together a nightstand made of mdf and plastic, nope nope nope nope. Look I get it as a somewhat engineer in previous lives I can appreciate a finely milled and crafted edge as part of product making superbness but c'mon if it risks slashing some part of our soft bodied beings open it's just not worth it.. so I'll update when I've put it together SAFELY. ... show more

This nightstand exceeded my expectations. I like the the box it came in was light and smaller. It was easy to get everything out. The instructions were also easy to follow. The nightstand itself could not have been simpler to put together. It took me about 5-8 minutes to assemble and I didn't need any tools! Despite its size, the shelves have a good amount of space and can fit decent size objects along with a good handful of nicknames or toys! ... show more

I got one of these to hold my UPS/NAS & Router and than one to hold a laptop cooler, they were very easy to set up and go perfectly with the pain in the apartment thanks to the white color of the wood & tubes. the best simple bedside table. i got them so i had something simple to put my APAP on next to my bed and this was perfect (to put on the second shelf) then have my phone, lamp, cup of tea and whatnot on the top, and a gallon of water fits perfect on the bottom. I actually got two and i adjusted the shelves to be opposite heights, so one has the low shelf and the other has the high shelf and both work perfect for different things- the other one has my fan on top, electric tea kettle on the second and tea boxes on bottom. love them. and SO worth the price. ... show more
